Breathe, breathe in the air

How do Canadian clubs compare to U.S. clubs as far as rules, regulations, laws and the general ability to obtain extras and ITC/OTC are concerned or anthing else for that matter? Do any of you cross the border or visit for specific clubs because of how good they are and/or what you can get? What cities have the best clubs?

The experiences I've had at Quebec SCs is that they are much more open in terms of offering "extras". Prostitution (even on the street) is basically tolerated up there, although there are some restrictions on talking explicitly about sexual services for money while outside in public. The escort scene in Montreal is also very, very prevalent, but the SCs off-Montreal island are better IMHO.

Windsor, Ontario, accross from Detroit is totally nude, some have nude lap dances, but strict about OTC. Escort services are open and legal. Drinking age is 19, so you get a lot of young guys from the Detroit suburbs hanging out, but not buying dances. Gives us old guys, with money, an edge.

I've been to the clubs in Toronto. The lapdance action is as good or better than Dallas or Houston. The only difference is you don't really need to tip in Canada (maybe because of the lack of $1 bill?). If you want OTC, avoid clubs in Downtown or near the airport. Good clubs are Cannonball, Club Paradise, House of Lancaster Bloor, New Locomotion.

Clubs I've been to in BC have been tamer than US clubs, probably because prostitution is legal, or tolerated. So strip clubs are strip clubs, not brothels. 3 out of 4 that I've been to didn't even have private areas. Maybe they did, but didn't advertise it.

I've heard the same things about Windsor. Used to be very high mileage, but now that outcall prostitution is legal they are tame in comparison, also tame compared with Detroit. One theory about why Detroit is so high mileage is because of the competition across the river.

Wow, London: Four answers, four different geographic areas covered! All you did is ask about a country... I can think of a lot of other message boards I've read over the years where you would've been lucky to get ONE sensible, courteous, intelligible, and coherent response.

And of course Stripclubspy sneaks in while I was typing my response.....

CT, I can always count on good advice and positive responses from you guys. I see what you say Stripclubspy and you are surely 100% correct with your observations. If I go to Canada it will be more likely Toronto first so thank you spudd for your posting :-)

It's true that stage-side tipping is a rarity in Canada, and yes, it's due to the $1-2 coins up there.
