North Hollywood, California's strip joints are flashier and more upscale than one might expect. As an area of the city of Los Angeles, North Hollywood is decidedly less glamorous than Hollywood itself. But in recent years, North Hollywood has changed in the sense that it is increasingly becoming a destination in and of itself; though for different reasons than Hollywood is.

Business and industry has developed in this area and more upscale housing is popping up amidst the traditional middle class homes in the area. With more attention and increased levels of business and affluence, the strip clubs in North Hollywood have thrived.

The following are the four best strip clubs in North Hollywood, California.

Aside from some very hot strippers and great dances, the thing that is most memorable about the Star Garden is that unlike 99% of all other strip clubs in the Los Angeles area, this is a 'rock and roll' type of club. Now, I have nothing against hip-hop, R&B, techno, house, whatever. But why is it that seemingly EVERY strip club I go to plays basically the same music over and over and over again? Rock and roll and strip joints should go together! Or at least SOME of the time.

The Star Garden is all about guitar driven rock, with a pretty good mix of classic and contemporary (along with a dash of hair metal, my least favorite rock and roll genre, but whatever). Obviously, the primary reason to visit Star Garden is not the music, but it helps.

But the bottom line, of course, are the dancers, and they do an exceptionally great job of entertaining, exciting and keeping you interested. This is one of the few clubs in the North Hollywood area that serves alcohol. It is technically a topless, not nude, club, though I always think of that as a matter of semantics as I'm not sure how that will detract from the experience at all.
