Visited two clubs that were supposed to be the best.
Took an HK girl with me to Guadalajara for five days and four nights. Left TJ for a three-hour, nonstop flight (Volaris $160 each round trip). A fellow monger picked us up with his local girlfriend. Stayed in a nice AirB&B for about $275. He made dinner for us. (Thank you Greenbeans.)
That night my girl showed her appreciation for taking her on this adventure. We have done overnights before, both locally and in beach resorts as far south as Ensenada, so I was sure that we would get along on this trip.
Halloween was coming up, so there were some people out-and-about with costumes. That evening we went to a carnival (https://youtu.be/Jp2wlq9IgK8?s…). Enormous. Looks to be a permanent event with huge rides. Been to a few carnivals and state fairs. Even worked in a few as a teen; however, nothing in the US was as big. The number of and size of the rides are bigger than anything I have seen in the USA. Some were so big that I refused to go on them. (My girl is a bit of a loon and wanted to go on some real stomach turners.)
The next day my girl and I went to Plaza Tapatia. (She has been to Guadalajara before, so knows her way around.) A long stretch of shops with individual vendors in the middle. Had a nice lunch and went to the Wax Museum. Never had much interest in wax museums, but it was interesting and she wanted it. In addition to Mexican cultural icons, such as Vicente Fox, there were figures of American presidents and actors. Shows the blend of cultures.
La Casa de George men’s club. Entry was 200P for me and 400P for my chica. Not sure of the logic of her entry being more expensive, but the fee included a lap dance for each of us at the table. Also, we were expected to buy at least one drink each. From memory, my JW Black was 200P. Two girls joined us and ordered a glass of champagne for 150P each.
Turns out that the girl who sat with my chica was someone she knew from HK. They chatted and compared notes. She was about 5’ 10” and slightly thick. The girl who sat with me was about 5’ 8” and spoke reasonable English. Her name is Wanda as I recall.
We just started the conversation and Wanda asked about my relationship with my chica. Told her “bien amigos.” Wanda then launched into a pitch about how we should link our bank accounts, so I could help her out financially with her depression. (You can guess my response to that request.) She said she is an artist by profession and was working in the club to make some money and didn’t really like working there. I don’t know who trained her, but it wasn’t the best opening topic of conversation.
Overall, the women were dressed in evening wear. Maybe 8-10 women total. About six meseros. One stayed with us and no others tried to cut him off. There was only one other monger in the club at 9:00 on a Friday night.
Our local friend told us that the clubs don’t get going until late, but I would have expected a larger population at this hour. Also, she said that in most of the clubs, the girls spend the majority of their time sitting and drinking with customers. The girl sitting with my chica said that Caesar’s was an excellent club, so we departed and went to check it out. I tipped each girl $5US for sitting with us. An amount that my chica said was fair.
There were three girls that performed on stage while we were there. One danced nude by the end of her set. The other two performed topless. I wasn’t very focused on the stage, but it seemed to be that they each did two-song sets of about three minutes a song. There were some long gaps between stage performances.
The process is that there is no pay-as-you-go. The club starts a tab for you and you are given an exit pass when you pay that tab. Otherwise they give you grief. Caesar’s works the same way. They will accept dollars or credit cards, but I paid in Pesos for safety and exchange rate reasons (especially considering my conversation with Wanda). I don’t know what the club exchange rate was.
Caesar’s is a little different.
A little more elegant, but the same body count. 8-10 women, 6-8 meseros, and one other monger at 10:00. The entry was 550P and at least one drink was required. The door fee included a lap dance for each of us.
Pandora, 20 years old, joined us. Long, black evening dress, she looked to be natural and in good physical shape. She said that she wants to go to TJ to work, so we answered some of her questions, saying basically that TJ is VERY different, but she was pretty enough and personable enough to be successful.
I was presented with a list of drinks to buy for Pandora. I turned over the menu and they said that the drinks on that side are not available to the girls. The drinks allowed for the girls started at 375P and went up to 5,000P as I recall. I chose a 375P drink for Pandora. We were there about 45 minutes total, and I was asked to buy Pandora another, but declined.
I used one of the lap dance coupons and asked Pandora to perform. I was told that I cannot touch the girls, including during a lap dance. Pandora spent about two minutes rubbing her ample butt on my lap, but that was about her only move. Very dull. Seemed like she wasn’t into it at all, just trying to fulfill the minimum requirement. I paid the tab, tipped Pandora 200 pesos and we left.
Went to the local zoo. Incredible. Rode a lift across the length of the zoo and got an aerial view of the facility. Clearly the animals are kept in large habitats and well cared for. There is even onsite veterinary service that you can tour, including an onsite MRI.
When my ATF asked to go to the zoo, I was expecting close quarters in cheap environments because it is Mexico. Totally wrong. Impressed with the quality of the care and the facility. It included a large aquarium and African animal display that you take a cart through.
Various entry prices for the zoo from about 200P to 450P per person. I wanted the cheapest of course and she wanted the most costly, because they included the tram ride, aquarium, and the safari excursion. They take credit cards.
The Local Bazaar had to be over 10 city blocks long. Mostly clothes and trinkets, but it was interesting to see how the locals do business.
I can recommend Guadalajara for general tourism, but not so much for mongering.
Nice article PT, thanks for taking the time to submit!
I want to remind your reviewers that an article "can be about anything you want..." if it has "...something to do with the content of this website." There's no rule that says it has to be a review if you talk about a SC.
I think your use case here - stitching together a narrative about your TLN weekend which included multiple stops at clubs - makes a lot of sense. I might do the same to report on an upcoming viajecito I have with a HK bar girl to CDMX.
Anyway, did you miss the Ruta de Tequila!? That would be number 1 on my list if I were to tour Guadalajara!
RonJax2, thanks for having my back. Some just gotta get that hate out when the walls of the basement start closing in. The original article was much more of a travelog, so this is actually cut down.
I have submitted enough articles and reviews that the chances are that I will expire before my membership does. Lately it seems that there are some on this board that are quick to make judgement.
Didn't do Ruta de Tequila, despite being invited. I don't drink in Mexico. A habit to avoid two things: 1. Being seen as a drunk and stupid target. 2. Suffering whiskey dick in the land of opportunity. A function of age my doctor says. Thank goodness for chemical intervention.
Nice article. Doesn't sound like any reason to venture beyond Tijuana. Plus you have to worry about banditos when traveling beyond the resort area in Mexico.

Keep up the good work, I am sure your feedback is well appreciated by the TUSCL community and especially me.
Other border towns can be fun and successful for mongers.
Going to Monterrey next month. My understanding is that it is much more conducive to mongering.
Been to Chile and Peru. I had successful mongering experiences in both.
