Basics: What Is R.O.B. aka A Rip Off Bitch?
IWantHerOnMe
I'd live this way again
I pop onto Tuscl and read a review of someone saying they dealt with a ROB dancer. They paid the standard fee for VIP and didn't get whatever act that tickled their fancy, or she didn't do it exactly how you thought it should go. As I read these dudes who frequently comes off likes they're broke, weird, entitled, stupid or a pushover, I regularly struggle to understand the issue. I go back to the top, sure that I missed something. What actually did he want? What did she say? Did he speak to the bouncer? Did he scout this dancer? Is he a regular at this club? Because these reviews usually don't specify any of this. Is he just a rookie? Or a moron?
There aren't that many rookies on this board. There also doesn't seem to be that many morons. But I think this ROB shit needs to be broken down. I don't learning any of this is that hard. But damn it, if it was so simple we wouldn't keep seeing these dumb ass posts with these stupid complaints in them.
Point #1: The Definition - To me a ROB is a chick who says she'll do something at a certain price for a certain amount of time and then doesn't do that. On this board the definition of a ROB is becoming a chick who you assumed would or you think should (which yuck) do something and doesn't.
Point #2: There's No Such Thing As An Extras Dancer - Extras clubs don't mean extras dancers. I'm stunned by how many people are coming onto this board assuming that extras are automatic at certain clubs for a certain price. I'm not acting like the dancers that do things for me only do things for me. I'm saying there is no guarantee that the same dancer will do the same for you at that price. The most important acronym on Tuscl is YMMV. Your mileage may vary. If someone tells you something is guaranteed they haven't done this for long enough. Dancers aren't vending machines that you can insert 400 bucks into and get extras.
Point #3: Her Pussy, Her Price - Gold Star Pussy and being a ROB aren't the same thing. Prices for one aren't prices for all of them. The club sets the rules. If they let dancers name their VIP price for example I don't care if that woman charges 50,000 for a VIP run, it's her choice. I'm just not paying. If you want to haggle, give that a try. But you get what you pay for. Especially when buying female attention. If I bought court side seats and you bought nosebleeds don't run around telling people we didn't get to watch the same game.
Point #4: You Must Talk My Guy - Pay for play doesn't negate the need to communicate. It's a dancers job to get as much out of a PL as she can while doing as little as possible. So if you let her speed you up, push you on an upsell before you iron out details, start an argument over prices or frankly make you do or agree to anything you don't want as a paying customer, don't get on here and bitch because you got played by a dancer. Learn the rules or get air dances for 600 bucks. If you didn't say exactly what you wanted and how you wanted it then don't assume.
WHY THIS AFFECTS TUSCL: Heavy allegations affect intel. Being a ROB is a huge charge. For the record, I name ROBs. I don't name any other club staff or dancers in public unless they promote themselves by name in public, and even then sometimes I don't. So if I call a chick a ROB on here I realize I may be deterring someone on TUSCL from engaging her. And if dudes who don't know the difference between "overpriced" and "dishonest" start to drive PLs away from smokeshows then that makes the board trash. I'm close to saying that anyone who calls a dancer a ROB but doesn't make clear that she agreed to exactly what he wanted has written an incoherent review.
Let me give you 10 tips that help me and some of the vets on this board:
1.) Find a Home Club or 2 - If you're a regular you'll find out who will do what for who and who to avoid.
2.) Tip People That Aren't Dancers - Then club staff will be more likely to talk to you and they'll tell you who the ROBs are. Especially bouncers who hate being nagged by a dancer who always lies. A 5 in the tip jar goes along way.
3.) Don't Be a Fucking Jerk - If you don't respect anyone then don't be shocked when dancers try to take advantage of you. They are looking for a reason to spring some nonsense on a PL who smells bad, plays games or violates their boundaries. Yes they lost a customer but there's always another one just like there is always another stripper. The golden rule has never failed.
4.) Never Pay Up Front - Ever. For any reason. At all. Period. FIN.
5.) Get Dances First - I never take a chick to VIP I haven't dealt with on the floor a few times. ROBs or GPS tend to show themselves then. This one will be controversial, because again what if you just talk to the chick beforehand? No need to prolong the tease, if she agreed to it that just do it. But getting dances for awhile before I'm alone with dancer has saved me headaches. Who knows what being along with a woman you don't know can lead to.
6.) Develop a Rapport - Maybe this is why I get dances first. The dance helps me get a guess as to how VIP would go. If her dances work for me, and her convo works for me 90 percent of the time VIP will work too. And again I'm saying this because I'm seeing guys call dancers a ROB because he didn't enjoy the session when she did everything she said she'd do. I'm not going to be satisfied by every moderately hot women.
7.) Ask Dancers The House Dance Price - If she lies about that she'll lie about anything. And shit, if she admits charging more than the house fee I can actually work with on rare occasions if she's honest and sexy enough.
8.) Don't Take A Chick That Always Haggles To VIP - Sign that she's always changing up about something. The menu should be the menu.
9.) Put Her On Your Rhythm and Standard - If she keeps pushing you that means she wants to control the situation instead of treating you like a customer. I will not approach her on the floor no matter how long I've spent money on her. She will wait until I finish my drink and watch my game. She will not expect me to do stuff like buy her a drink or tip her friends because I did it last time. She will not be drunk or high. She will be prepared to do the same thing at the same price she did the last time. She damn sure won't nag me OTC.
10.) No Second Chances - Read my reviews. This is one thing I don't do anymore. When new dancers play ROB games with me at my home clubs, they try to apologize after they see me spend on other dancers for months afterward. I used to give second chances but I don't anymore, these new dancers take that as a sign of weakness when 5 or 6 years ago they seemed more likely to truly be trying to get back into your good graces or uh your good money.
Look man, I can't tell you what to expect from strippers, And real ROBs do exist and I will be calling them what they are as long as this board is active. But I don't want the board to go to shit and be unable to trust anything written on it. These terms have to mean something if we as consumers are going to get something out of it. Please lets clean this stuff up.

Simply charging a high price isnt robbing, it could be GPS.
As far as air dance’s falling under ROB behavior or not, that depends on the club. Does the club advertise lapdances and advertise contact being allowed? In that case, if you get an air dance, you can do whatever you want to her and get your money back from her or management.
On the other hand, if its a club where lapdances arent openly offered, and theres signs posted saying no touching dancers etc, in that case you obviously needed to discuss mileage beforhand with the dancer. If she says she’ll do a lapdance but then only does an airdance, that is robbing.
There are no hard and fast rules in this game. Not paying up front is definitely a good guideline, but if you make it a hard and fast rule, I guarantee you are leaving a lot of good times on the table.
I never pay up front unless I'm asked to. However, I have paid up front lots of times when asked. Yes, I ended up getting ripped off on a very few occasions, maybe three or four times over a good number of years, but the vast majority of the times, easily dozens, I ended up getting exactly what was discussed. Sometimes I ended up getting more than discussed.
Remember, there are ROB customers as well as ROB dancers. If paying up front puts the dancer at ease, and I'm getting good vibes, it's not an issue with me. I don't think I have ever had a dancer ask me to pay up front more than once, even in clubs that officially require it.
