TJ Options: Ficha, Lapdance, VIP or Arriba?

I got pinged by someone asking for details on your options with a bargirl once you're in a club, so thought I'd write a short primer on what your options are after you get hit up for a dollar tip...
Ficha
Almost every girl you come into contact with will ask you for a drink, a.k.a. a ficha. This will happen either at the bar or at a table. What this means is that the girl will order a drink from one of the meseros for $8-9 (depending on the bar). The mesero will expect a tip, and once the girl has the drink in your hands, she will stay with you until she finishes it. This may take a few minutes or much longer, depending on the girl and the chemistry between you. I've experienced both extremes, and on the good side it turned into a major make-out session with finger banging right in the booth. The girl will get a small ticket from the mesero that she'll exchange later for a couple of bucks, and most bars push hard on the girls to get as many fichas as they can. Tipping the girl while you're having a drink will usually make it more fun.
Lapdance
AFAIK, only Hong Kong and Chicago Club have these, and they're generally not worth it in HK unless you have a coupon for half off. They take place in a small booth with a door and cost $22, and you'll be expected to tip the mesero who shows you to the room. Unlike the US, there is no option to negotiate this directly with the girl... the mesero will always be a middleman for this. The mesero will time you and knock on the door in about 5 minutes or longer if you tip well, and the girl will expect a tip as well in proportion to what you can manage in that time frame. You can get a 15 minute session in Chicago Club for $30, and I've had some good ones there. Overall, this isn't worth the money to me because you can usually get as much action from a ficha.
VIP Booth
This is something most of the bars have, and it'll run you at least $60 for 30 minutes and anything goes for a price. In other words, if you want more than lapdances you can get it just by asking, but you will need to negotiate a separate price with the girl for it. The $60 only gets you the booth with a closed door (and sometimes a half dozen lady beers in a bucket), but it's a bigger booth. Totally not worth it in HK because you can get a short time room for less than half the price and you'll get a shower and toilet in the room to clean up as well as an actual bed to use. Ditto for the other bars though their respective hotels are lower quality and that may be a factor in your decision.
Arriba
This is the thing that makes TJ a destination in the first place. In any of the bars, you always have the option of taking the girl to the bar's attached hotel and sexing her up. You negotiate services and price with the girl and then head up and either pay for a short time room if you don't have one of your own (about $20) or take her up to your room. You'll stop at the front desk and the girl will tell them her name, and if you're going to a short time room they'll either hand you towels and a sheet or they'll be waiting in the room. If you're going to your own room, remember to ask for some as the clock will be ticking while you wait (the girl's, not the hotel's).

dollars are preferred by most girls. i use both but i have to keep in mind the exchange rate. unless you are up to speed on your numbers you could wind up spending more.
I've had great fichas where the gal nearly made me cum in pants and cold fish fichas where it couldn't end soon enough. It never occurred to me to tip the gal a couple bucks -- as you would for a stage show -- during the ficha to get even better access. I'll have to try that next month.
Lap dance at the regular $22 price isn't worth it. But with a VIP card you get one or two half-off coupons per 24-hour period and $11 (plus $1-2 tip for attendant) is worth it to determine if she is arriba-worthy.
Never tried VIP booth at HK and don't intend to; no need when you can go arriba in a much more comfortable environment, and more cost-effective, too.
For arriba, I'd advise to bring your own condoms. Their lube is good, though.
All in all, just an awesome place to be able to walk into and know you can have sex with just about any woman in the place (I think a few don't do arriba, but I could be wrong).
