I know there's a whole other site for this subject but I get a kick out of the feedback I get from here.
I must be naive because until a few years ago, I thought the whole happy ending thing was an urban legend. I just couldn't believe that what happens in AMP was really going on. I travel a lot and often see these places. On a trip a few months ago I struck out at the strip club so I was back at the hotel with free time. I started researching rubmaps. There are plenty of AMP in the town I was in and I had nothing going on so it was the perfect time.
I didn't go to one that trip but I learned a lot online. Apparently because the masseuses are not employed by the business, what happens in the private room is between them and the customer. This takes responsibility away from the businesses in most cases. So I researched the AMP in that area (I knew I would be back in a few weeks) and had a plan for my next trip.

She comes in and tells me to get completely undressed and to put the towel she gives me on. I ask who is working that night before she leaves. I'm not sure she understands but she tells me "I bring". Okay, now I know this isn't going to be good. I think about bailing but even if this old lady massages me, at least I get a massage right? I get undressed and get on the table. She comes back and you guessed correctly, she's my masseuse. Like I said, she's in her late 40s and there is nothing attractive about her black Hawaiian inspired 1 piece bathing suit. She was large chested but that does nothing for me at this point.
She puts oil on her hands and goes to work. There was nothing relaxing about the massage. She is rough and clearly not a masseuse, shocker, I know. This goes on for about 15 minutes and now I'm wondering how the process works. I'm definitely not buying any extras from her but I can learn from this visit for the future. Seawa, for now, I'll stick to the clubs....
In most AMPs, the girl expects to give you Happy Ending, otherwise she will think you don't like her, and she will think you are cheap too.
But lots of guys go to AMPs for years and years before they realize that FS is available.
But don't do what most guys do, and what guys write about on RubMaps, try to talk the girl into FS by offering her money, while lying face down on the table.
Treat her like a civilian and just make it happen with her. If she proves kissable, then it will be mind blowing. But even if not, it can still be very good, and she might become kissable.
Mostly it is just how you talk to her. Don't try to get her to agree to anything, don't discuss kissing her or FS. Just treat her like you and she were on a first date, or just met at a party. Make it happen with her, while turning on some verbal charm. She will usually open up.
If she is resistant, do not offer her money to try and persuade her, as that is treating her like someone who is motivated by money. Always treat her as a civilian. Just keep pouring on the charm, and almost always she will eventually yield and then ask for money. And when done that way, she will be real good, because you have not treated her like a prostitute.
The minimum looks standard for AMPs is very low. So you have to window shop.
Use RubMaps advanced search, like Kissing + FIV + DATY + FS, to find the places most likely to be good. Don't use BJ, cause Rubmaps doesn't apply the set logic correctly for BJ's.
Then just go by the girls' demeanor and manner of dress. And find one you would like to be waking up with in the mornings. A girl can tell if you really like her. It makes all the difference.
Quality is usually higher in more competitive metros, more AMPs, and in places where they have less problem with LE.

Dallas seemed to have a decent # of AMPs - I did 2 of them that I recall and the experience was mediocre to bad - seems one does not have much if any control over the situation and picking out the girl you want, etc - and some of the girls had attitudes as if not wanting to be there (understandable) - thus AMPs were not for me - I also visited a "modeling studio" or two in Dallas where the girls were American and come out and line-up and you pick one but that too was mediocre and one seemed to have to overpay b/c the house likely took a big cut
I find most of these AMPs and "modeling studios" kinda rip-off joints and not very good bang for the buck; per my limited experience.
I think this is key ... does your desire to get a dirty cheap HJ (or more) overcome the other lowbrow aspects of the experience, that AMPs work for you? For me, the downsides of AMPs include:
- scummy overall atmosphere and experience
- The likelihood of human trafficking
- In my home area, strip clubs are under 0 police pressure, whereas AMPs are always being monitored and raided
I do understand the attraction for AMPs as well:
- Cheap prices for just about any sex act
- Despite the OP's experience, it is easy to find HOT, young Asian women at AMPs.
To me, the lowbrow experience is just not an attraction at all, and I"m not interested in AMPs -- at all. I do indulge in full body sensual massage, which does bring with it a much more uptown experience, albeit at much higher prices for much lower mileage (usually, happy ending only).

Every once in a great while I'll hit an AMP (or LAMP in my area). It was difficult for me at first since no one ever expects a woman to want a HE with her massage at a seedy establishment (you'd think that just my being in a sordid place like that would have been a good indication!). My first one was awkward and the masseuse was nervous (tho very cute). As time has gone on I have less and less interest in them, mainly because the novelty of it is now gone, along with the negative factors that Subraman mentioned (with LE monitoring being a big factor).
So in a lot of ways - you ain't missing much.
There are a number of AMPs in Louisville, but reviews tend to be more akin to yours, though not quite as bad. The guys who patronize those don't appear to be as...picky. :)
If you want to try again I suggest you do some more research and if you get a bad feeling as you are going in, turn around and try a different place.

So you will be paying some money for drinks.
But the girls are probably dressed very slutty, and people say you can fraternize with them and that this can go to front room GFE. So this all but guarantees an awesome back room session. Better than the standard AMP.

I only know of such places in Houston, and that is only via Internet.
We do sometimes have Asian Hostess Bars, but they are not quite like that, and usually they don't last long.

Front room hostess bar, back room AMP. Can be front room GFE. Some girls are Vietnamese instead of Korean.
But there is often a tobacco problem, and many of the women are just too old. So just window shop until you find what you like.

Experiences with 10 Day AAMPs also very good. Not GFE. But girls very good looking. But I would not recommend those shops, because of syndicate which runs them, and because you can't really know those girls outside.
Vietnamese AMPs more likely to be possible GFE. I recommend these.
Chinese AMPs even more likely to be GFE, but girls not as good at dressing slutty. So I would suggest Vietnamese first. Vietnamese are already 1/2 westernized.

So best to use rubmaps advanced search by selecting sex acts. Just looking to find the best shop, not detailed provider info.
Select you geographic starting point, like maybe by postal zip code, and your search radius and I'll be happy to do it for you. Muni LA looks great, as a many other So Cal areas, and San Francisco is great.

I went to an AMP a couple months ago, for the first time in about 25 years, wanting some female touch and feeling depressed about my breakup.
