She was pretty, but not “hot” in the classic sense. She was from Greece and had some traditional Greek traits, including a slightly protruding nose and a small top with a slightly curvy bottom. What she did have, however, was a special gift for reading people and very subtly drawing them in. In no time you felt like part of her inner circle. She was bold and forthrite without being loud, and she had a way of doing everything in a direct, no-nonsense, earthy way. She was tough, yet classy, in a way that reminded me of a woman from a different era, despite the fact that she was under 30. She was also very smart and could speak on a number of topics, all the while doing so with an earthy appeal. In a nutshell, she was as a mesmerizing woman in a sea of strippers. She was truly a master of her craft.

As a master of her craft, she also had every angle plotted. She earned good money on nights when other girls could barely cover their tip-outs. It was not the lap dances that did it, though she certainly did those, but also what other guys gave her for the pleasure of her company. It is important to note that she never asked for money for her time – she didn’t have to. She also was the first to work out a deal with the club to receive a cut of her drink sales, a practice that was not offered to any other dancer (she had quite a following). All the while keeping these things tightly to herself, not making any friends with the girls and letting none of them know how she was doing.

She was also a big game hunter, and would often work her charm on “top 2%ers.” Not only did they come into the club to see her, but she often went to dinner with a number of them, maintaining a select group of “friends” among the club’s more well-to-do patrons. These were not sexual friends, though many wanted to be that and more. Some men even flew back and forth from out-of-state just to see her and one man even gave her an expensive German auto. When she left for Greece she went back with a bank account full of cash, a lot of nice jewelry and, of course, a new car.

The girls that post in places like the “Hustle Hut” are babies compared to this girl. She had learned the subtle old school, old world art of seduction. Comparing her to the average stripper is like comparing the Waldorf Astoria Hotel to a Motel 6 - they may be in the same general industry but they are in two different stratospheres.

I am as hard-edged as they come (anyone who reads my posts knows my gig) and even I felt drawn to her. I always kept my wits about me and never reached too deep into my wallet, but I can understand how it happened. I had never met a woman with her talent for this game, and probably never will again.

This was the one girl in all of the years at all of the clubs that managed to suck me in to a degree, though fortunately I was able to keep my a few remaining wits about me. Hardened Wall Streeters would chase after her. She was truly unique.
