Weeknight at Excape (Baltimore County)
I decided to continue my tour of the Baltimore County Strip Clubs and actually go to Excape for the first time. I went in with rock-bottom expectations, and while I had a better time than I thought I was going to, thinking about it I'm really struggling to think if there is anything here that would make you want to go routinely.
Location/Layout: address is in White Marsh but it's really not that far outside the city, basically only a few minutes down the road from Gold Club. Exterior is depressing, it looks like a liquor store and the place is surrounded by rundown motels. You can only access the large parking lot from the eastbound (heading away from city) direction. Interior is bigger and nicer than I thought it would be, the stage is big and elevated with two poles so you can see the stage show easily. A dark room for dances is in the back behind three pool tables. No "thug factor" from the customers despite the no cover and no ID check (there is a bouncer). There is food, but it didn't look like anything I'd want to try, and the bouncer brought in food from somewhere else so that told me everything I needed to know. Two bartender/waitresses (one drunk, one high) going through the motions which I thought was pretty funny.
Price: no cover. Each girl does a tip walk around the bar after each song, expecting $1 (instead of places where dancers do the tip walk after their set) so this added up for me by the end of the night and I'm sure this is how the dancers make most of their money. Beers and drinks were moderately priced (Yuengling bottle $8), I bought my dancer a couple of drinks and those were at regular prices ($16 for a big strong mixed drink) not "dancer drink" prices. Dances are expensive: $60 per, or $300 for a half-hour. That was more than I wanted to spend, especially here.
