A Chill Weekend at McDoogals (Summer 2024)
McDoogals has been renovated in the last few years and is pretty clean now. No sticky floors, no dirty bathroom, with low-lit with dim lighting that kept things intimate. The layout is very open: a large main stage in the center with front-row seating, and a few tables and chairs off to the sides for a more laid-back experience. The music leaned toward a Bad Bunny type playlist with a lot of reggaeton and hip hop. You could still carry a full conversation without yelling.
As for the dancers, there were at least a dozen working that night, and most hovered in the 6–7 range with a few solid 9s or even 10s in the mix. The girls were friendly, flirty, and naturally conversational. No aggressive upselling or pushy dance offers. They’d actually come over just to chat and vibe for a while, which honestly made the whole night feel more human. The crowd was diverse, with dancers of varying ethnicities and styles, mostly young and slim, though a couple curvier or older women added some welcome variety. The energy from the girls was confident and cool, and it never felt forced or mechanical. Bouncers weren’t overbearing.
Lap dances were around $35 per song and was absolutely worth the experience. They let you touch their tits and body (just not down below). Dances happen on leather couches in an open, dimly lit area that still faces the stage—so you’re never fully secluded but still get some privacy. There are also two VIP rooms, and while the listed price was around $150–$200 for 30 minutes, some dancers seemed flexible with the clock, potentially stretching that into an hour depending on rapport. Just know there are cameras in the VIP rooms, so while the dances there are more sensual than on the floor, it’s still within the boundaries. I don’t recall if there was a cover charge or if it was still BYOB. Tipping seemed expected only near the stage during busy hours.
