Return to The Crazy Horse

This was my first time back at Crazy Horse in about four years. There have been a lot of changes during that time. First, there is no longer a day shift. The club opens at 7:00 PM now. Second, the club is now part of the Deja Vu family of clubs.

The neighborhood around the club is somewhat sketchy, though it was still daylight during my time there (thank you Daylight Savings Time). I got to the club at around 7:20. There was a $10 cover. After I paid the cover, I entered the main room. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the changes. The back of the club, nearest to the exit, is now “VIP” seating. There was a host in the VIP area who told me that there is a $5 charge plus a two-drink (non-alcoholic) minimum to sit there, for a total of about $20. You can sit and talk to the dancers in this VIP área.

Down front, the old stage and theater-style seating remain. You can sit there to watch the dancers do their sets. There is an expectation to tip the dancers during each dance of their three-song set, with the first song dressed, second song topless, and the third song nude. The dancers will interact with you when you tip them.
