It's hard to argue with the value.

First time at KOD. I was curious to see what life was like at opening. I arrived on a Monday at 3:45 in the afternoon. They advertise online that the early show starts at 4pm and the VIP lounge opens at 4:30. You enter and get funneled into a line that ends up at an enclosed kiosk where your ID gets swiped an you enter in through a turnstile. There was no cover charge before 5:30. Past there you see a vending machine for snacks and a vending machine for XXX DVD's which was kind of random. I didn't note any prices on either. Walking into the main area, the bar is on the left and you are immediately amongst a dozen or so high top tables. looking towards a small two pole stage. There is a row of seats closer and of course the seats around the actual stage. The other stage area was closed off and I didn't see it open in the couple hours I was there.

Grabbing a drink they had some happy hour specials before 5:30 2.50 and 3.50 coors and bud lights in these dinky plastic cups… I noticed guys ordering 3-4 at a time and it didn’t seem that attractive. I got a more palatable beer for me and paid 8$ for a 16oz tap. Even on a Monday at 4pm in the afternoon there were still about 10 people in there with more showing up every 15 minutes. It was largely and older crowd at that time who seemed very familiar with the dancers. Lots of greetings and hugging as the dancers walked in the door to get ready. There was a screen off to the side of the stage displaying the dancers for the “early show” and sure enough when it kicked off around 4:10 they paraded all 8 of the names on the screen to show them off in the order they would be appearing. Ranged for 4-7 in looks with mostly very fit and trim girls and one on the hefty side. All white save for one Asian girl. One set of plastic from what I could tell, one set of big naturals, and a lot of skinny girls with small chests. Not exactly a set of girls that I was dying for, but for the price of lap dances I still thought I would enjoy myself.

When they took the stage they did a three song set, fully nude as advertised usually by the 2nd song. Once a couple had girls had gone up on stage and started to work the floor, the DJ was very clear about their no touching policy. LD’s took place just off stage in a very visible elevated seating area. The first few girls who came through all flocked to regulars immediately after their dances and it seemed like with the $10 lap dances they would be occupied for awhile. The first couple of girls I was interested in went 6-8 songs deep immediately with their guys. I really only had about 90 minutes to spend, so I made it a point to throw a little extra cash out for the next girl on the stage to try to get her attention when she got off and it worked. She wandered right over and I was able to get a couple dances. I had read mixed reviews on this place of people complaining about air dances. That wasn’t my experience. The elevated seats seem really weird for the girls to work with but they do the best they can, no afraid to club up and on you for a good grind. Nothing more than that though. If I had more time I wanted to check out VIP but I will save that for a return visit. Pretty easy going environment. This visit wasn’t anything to write home about but the place wasn’t gross, the bar service was good, and the dances were cheap. I will stop by again sometime. I feel like at a more primetime hour and a fuller house you would be really fighting for attention with the LD prices.
