A Nighttime Stop at the Ole Fav!

I was in the neighborhood and said, "what the hell" and stopped into Essex! I'm still getting used to the place only being open at nighttime as I've had some very, very memorable episodes here dayshift, :-)! But anyways, pulled up at the club, got the temp check then grabbed an open seat barside and ordered my usual vodka/crans. I watched the talent slowly trickle in since I was kinda early, mostly latinas and AA's with 2 white girls. Thankfully, about 90-95% were natural and as you all know, is right up the ole alley for me, ha ha!! No rubber dolls as far as I could tell thankfully...

I asked about dances even though I already knew the answer, no floor or VIP whatsoever, but you could go by the stage and tip of course. The ladies were on point tonight with their routines, three stages with each dancer doing a song on each then rotate. The DJ announced 35 dancers at peak time and it looked like he was spot on, lots of ladies working the club for tips either by a quick stop and air twerk or in casual convo. Guys were making it rain throughout the night which isn't exactly MY thing, but hey it kept the party vibe going which I appreciated. The music was mostly hip hop with a few reggaeton songs thrown in, which was fine with me. Thankfully I only recognized ONE dancer from the past, as I was in the mood for some new blood. We exchanged hellos and kept it moving, but I did my part in showing love to the girls as I spent quite a bit on tips but it was worth every dollar. They got my motor going, lol! I spent quite a bit in my 3 hours and I couldn't believe it went by that quick.

Admission was $15 before 9, then turned into $20 afterwards, drinks were reasonably priced in the $8-9 range, didn't see anyone buying bottles or anything like that. It was really busy when I left after midnight but I will return with some buddies next time and might splurge on a bottle to celebrate the end of 2020 and to hope for a more normal 2021! :-)
