Not Encouraging

I visit this club 4-5 times a year, when I happen to be in the area. As you can see in my previous reviews I have a generally favorable opinion of this club despite its limitations, and let’s face it, it is clearly better that the only other local alternative. In the past, it was not uncommon for me to make multiple visits here within a week or two just because I was taking advantage of being in the area. However… this particular visit was less than encouraging.

This particular visit was on a Friday night. (Although to be fair, I tend to find that Saturday nights are generally better, and this was probably my first visit in truly ‘peak’ tourist season.) I went roughly 9p-11p, which is a little early, but it is not unheard of for 2-for-1s to happen in the 10/10.30/11 time frame. When I first arrives (~9p) it was slow, only a hand full of customers and mostly day shift talent hanging around until the night shift talent started on the stage rotation. Things picked up by 10p to where it was a fairly full house, but no 2-for-1s by 11p when I decided to cut my losses. Slightly concerned that maybe 2-for-1s have been discontinued.

Overall the talent was disappointing. When I first arrived (~9p) the remaining day shift talent was not appealing and included at least two serious heffers. As the night shift started to take over, the scenery improved, but no real ‘stand out’ talent… and I didn’t recognize many of the dancers. I’m a bit concerned about rapid turn-over. On one hand, it would be easy to say, ‘well what do you expect for Spokane and rural Idaho?’ And that is affair assessment. However, historically there have usually been one or two gems here at any given time, which personally (for better or worse) can salvage almost any outing. This was not the case this night. The one relatively ‘new’ dancer I liked last time here has gone full career stripper mode in short order. Sad.
