Gone but not forgotten

I went in a couple of weeks before they closed down as I had heard rumors they were going under. Sadly this place has been struggling for a long time and the atmosphere when I was there felt depressing just walking in the door. It was only a $10 cover and I didn't bother to ask why, I made my way to the stage to see what they had to offer. There were only 2 girls working and I didn't even bother to ask for a private dance from either. As far as looks/performance goes they were both what you would expect from a place about to close their doors. I stuck around long enough to see the whole lineup (2) and tipped a few dollars to each of them at the stage. It is a shame to see "The Vu" close down as it and Stateline were the only two options locally. It would be cool to see this place open up again and maybe have a little resurgence.
