Bad times in the Lilac City

Spokane, WA. Wednesday night. You know between Dick's Hamburgers here in Spokane and Dick's Drive in in Seattle, (both unrelated) folks in Washington are eating a lot of Dicks. For good reason the shit is delicious. Deja Vu is right off a very busy one way road, Sprague avenue. Not a big lot but I found a spot. Area seems fine to me. Walk in, to a couple girls at the front behind the bar. Looked like one girl was training the other girl. They were very nice, the trainer girl walk me to the bathroom when I asked where it was. Cover was $15 I believe. LD's are $20 song out in the open one way and $40 in a booth for 2 way.

A few guys sitting on the tables in front of the stage, felt pretty slow tonight. I watched the stage, some songs it would be empty. About only 4 girls I counted. One brunette white girl, one black girl bot who ok atleast for my tastes, not enough to go buy dances. Both 20 somethings, average body types. And then one girl got up on stage looked 70 in the face but probably a 30 year old drug user, enhanced rack, She gets done dancing, people were actually tipping her and then she gets off, stage is empty for couple songs, people just sitting in sad silence (other than the shitty music playing) and then another "girl" I guess gets on stage, very thin and muscular with a boys haircut, either a raging progressive girl or a guy I couldn't tell, I just know I had to get the fuck out of here.

On the whole crazy road trip I took Spokane was probably my favorite stop, very cool place, first time actually. But for such a great town they got to have a better strip club then this one. The movie Vision Quest was filmed here back in the 80's and you know that scene where Matthew Moudins character is sprinting across that bridge at the start of the movie? Yeah that was me running out of this joint.
