Yes, it's closed for at least a few more weeks

Just to follow up on the previous review: Yes, Ballpark is closed for the moment. I went on Monday night, found it was closed, and went across the street to the 7-11 to ask what was up. Apparently they were raided by police a week and a half ago, and were shut down as a nuisance bar. Charges of drugs and prostitution, which, knowing the place, doesn't shock me. They were suppose to have a hearing last week, but it got pushed back till mid-July, and the bar will remain closed until at least then. IF it reopens after that, the person I talked to said that they're planning to totally clean house to try to get different dancers who will appeal to different clientele. Which is a shame. The Ballpark had a lot of really faithfull regulars, and it'll be tough to get them back.
