Beach Theme Night

I was in town and could not pass up the opportunity to visit SLSG. It was a Friday night 8.45-10.40pm and the club was doing a beach / end of summer theme party. FWIW, I thought the beach party vibe was both nice and appropriately done… and frankly a great excuse to do a little advertising to get some warm bodies through the door. By 10-10.30 the club was pretty full and I’ve got to say I was very surprised that the DJ didn’t call a 2-for-1’s by the time I left. I wish I could have stayed later but I had an early flight out.

So first question / concern: have they cracked down on 2-for-1’s?

I wasn’t able to stay late enough to see any of the special topless twister or hula-hoop stuff. They were also doing a $5 dollar raffle for a ‘free’ lap dance. (I apologize for digressing… but a $5 raffle technically isn’t ‘free’ and if they sold 20 tickets... where’d the extra $75 in raffle money go, probably not the dancers.)
