No Dancers on Duty

Well, I had a couple of Benjamins burning a hole in my pocket and I noticed that I hadn't been to any strip clubs recently, so decided to solve two problems at the same time. Three of the last 4 times I was at GABC turned out ok and I decided to go for 4 out of 5. I arrived around 3pm only to find there was no activity on the dance floor at all. No customers. No dancers. There were a few customers at the bar. I waited around in the dance area for about 15-20 minutes, thinking a few of the dancers were back in the dressing room. None ever came out.

Now, I'm of the type of customer who looks for only moderate levels of activity, and when (and if) dancers come over to me and ask for a drink or suggest we go to the VIP private dance area, all I anticipate in the VIP is that they are topless. Topless on my lap is OK. I don't look for any super-extra activity. Normally the dancers at GABC wear bikini bottoms for lap dances. That's OK. But the last time I was at GABC, as well as this time, there weren't any dancers at all. I don't know where they went. They just weren't at the club. The club's marquee out front was current and everything looked normal. Just no girls. Beats me. I hadn't spent any money, even on bottled water, during the 15-20 minutes I was there, so I decided to preserve my Benjamins and go elsewhere. There's another club not far down the road and I went there and had a good time while trying to remember my high-school Spanish.
