Since I just entered my very first 'strip club' last Sunday, 11-20-05, I am ignorant when it comes to evaluating such clubs. However, my maiden voyage -- at the tender age of 43 yrs. -- did yield some valuable insights into strip clubs in general, and The Roaring Twenties in particular.

First, while very nervous, I found simply being in the strip club environment surprisingly relaxing and mellow. If you have been single as long as I have, merely seeing a 20 year old woman entirely nude, is quite an eye-opener in and of itself. Second, although the concepts of 'desperate' and 'loser' entered my consciousness more than once, after I got over my negative self-talk, I concluded such environments are not only fun and rewarding, but also serve a therapeutic value.
