So, I said to myself, "Self, I could use a drink, and what better place to get a drink than a place with a substantial number of bare tits?" Off to the Downtown Caberet for happy hour. Strangely dead this Friday evening - the girls I talked to all said it was busy Thursday, and they had no idea why it was so dead Friday afternoon. Bit of a downer being one of about four customers with 10 dancers walking around. <br>

However, the quality of dancers was fantastic. I think it may have something to do with the MLB all-star game this week; two dancers I talked to were new hires from other in-town clubs, and one had come all the way from Montreal for the week. So, take note, Twin Citians, there is high-quality pulchritude in town for the week. Next year, head wherever the All-Star Game is held. The club, as always, is one of the best-looking ones in Minneapolis, making all the others look like shacks.<br>

So, basics are still $20 for a dance in the seats nearest the stage, no touching. Next step up, according to one dancer, was if you go to the floor up the steps near the side bar, you get 3 songs for $60, with touching allowed. Finally, of course, VIP room, which she quoted at $120/hour. I'm not a big spender, and as one of the few patrons, I felt a responsibility to spread my twenties around, so I stayed near the stage and got dances from Grace, Julia, and Sophia. Nice to hear stripper names that sound like real names. I'm very tired of dancers named "Chrystal."<br>
