this club has the honor of being the only club in new orleans where i have tried to pick up a prostitute. my friend and i got wasted at the open bar down the street at deja vu, and decided we wanted something raunchy and cheap. i hadnt been to shobar before, so it seemed like an obvious choice.

anyway, by the time we actually got to shobar we were trashed to the point where our english skills had deteriorated to a jumble of slurs and grunts. the club itself was very small, possibly the smallest strip club on bourbon street. there were maybe 4 girls, one of them cute. my drunk friend tried to convince the hot girl to bang us, but probably due to the fact that he was stumbling and unable to utter a sentence, nothing actually happened. from what i heard of shobar, the fact that we failed to pick up a hooker there is probably worse than the fact that we tried to pick up a hooker there.

also, rumor has it that the entertainment may or may not be women. so consider yourself warned.
