I wrote a review for Visions a year or so ago so this is an update to my earlier review. I went back to Visions this past Friday night, first time I've been there in about a year. The first thing I noticed was no one was collecting an entrance fee at the door unlike my previous visits. Next I noticed there were not many customers. Visions was always known mainly as a locals club and it also had a reputation for giving the guys more bang for their bucks especially compared to the French Quarter strip clubs. It used to always be crowded on Friday nights, so I was surprised to see a sparse crowd. I suspect the thing that pissed me off Friday night might be the reason their business appears to have declined. There were about 10 girls in the club mostly medium looking. One very pretty girl caught my eye and I started talking to her. She was Cuban, and she looked like she was in her 20s, she had long black hair, very pretty face great body, reasonably big tits, but not too big, just the size I like. She asked if I wanted a lap dance, and she said it would cost $40 per dance, or she would do 3 dances for $100. The lap dance area is semi-private with small cubicles and no door or curtain. You could see the couple diagonally from you and vice versa, it's been that way for years. I agreed to the 3 dances for $100. The dances were very good. Lot of touching, nice crotch rubbing, playing with her tits, and she even let me pull her panties aside a couple of times for a peek at her pussy. I should mention bottomless dancing is illegal in all of Louisiana, so the girls cannot dance naked. After the 3 dances, which were well worth the $100, she asked if I wanted to go to a private room where we could have even more fun. The private room cost $150, which went to the house, plus the girl's fee or tip. I had been to the private rooms on previous visits to Visions, though it had been a few years, and I had no complaints about the previous private room visits. This time I told the girl I needed to get more cash from the ATM to cover the room and her fee, and she told me there was no need for that, I could just use a card to pay the house fee and her fee. She was pushing me to use a card instead of cash, while rubbing my hand against her beautiful ass. I have to admit the small head was out voting the big head at that moment. Anyway, I agreed to pay with a card. The doorman who guarded the private rooms took my card to pay the house fee and the girls fee. But then the girl said, "you need to tip him" i.e. the doorman, and he whipped the card machine to face me and it had 3 choices for the tip. It did not give me the option of putting in another amount other than those 3 choices. I did not look at it very close as I was distracted by her naked tits rubbing against me. I chose the smallest tip amount on the screen, thinking that I was tipping 20% of the $150 house fee. I was feeling a bit dazed and rushed, and the card screen was quickly turned away from me. I was thinking did I just tip 20% or was it more? Anyway, we went into the private room and I must say the girl was well worth the amount I had agreed to pay her. I had a great time. I won't go into the graphic details, but it was mucho fun. However, afterwards, when I checked my credit card, I saw that I had not tipped the doorman 20%, I had tipped the doorman 120%. The doorman's tip was more than the cost of the private room! That pisses me off. I wonder if that's why the club was not very busy like it used to be. My advice is, if you go to Vision, do not use a card to pay for anything. If you want to take a girl into a private room, pay the doorman his $150 fee, and if he or the girl push for a tip for the doorman, give him $20 or $30 cash or whatever you think is fair. That's my story, sad but true. But the girl was super hot, so it was not a complete bust. I probably will go back, but I will take more cash, and only give out cash, NO CARDS. By the way, they do have an ATM in the club and as far as I know the ATM won't cheat you if you need to get more cash.
