Southern hospitality, but very southern
Went just after midnight on a Friday. Although I came prepared to pay the $20 cover (listed on this website), they told me I could just walk in. When you enter, you enter right at the bar, and to your left is a stage area with a bunch of tables and chairs. There was always a dancer at the stage, but far more people were at the bar and only a couple were at the tables.
To the right of the stage was the LD area, which was just some chairs and surrounded by a curtain you could mostly see through. The bartender was great; I grabbed an overpriced beer and looked at the dancers. Wide variety of shapes and sizes. There was a dancer I was interested in at the bar a few seats away from me, but she was talking to a couple of guys. I wasn't sure if they were customers and didn't want to start anything by interrupting them, so I asked the bartender if she knew and she just told the dancer I was interested. Ended up getting a few dances from her and a couple of other dances.
The dances were fine, but the chairs in the LD area are close next to each other, so we were right next to others. There was also an old lady who'd come out and occasionally interrupt dances to make sure no extras were happening. She really hurt the vibe for a few people. That said, if there are evenings where the church lady falls asleep and forgets to show up, this place seems like a really nice one with very friendly dancers and bartenders. Dances were $20, which seems a little high considering, though.
