- Terrible Experience
I have been to Foxy and Desire recently if that’s the best New England has to offer than I might be moving soon. To be fair most clubs aren’t that great nowadays. Stripclubs have become a race to bottom post COVID.
- Portland Saturday part 1
When I visited last year they had a good selection of hotties. One of the best lineups I had seen post COVID.
Rouge was probably the only club I have been to post COVID where I was impressed. That being said places change and I have noticed a precipitous decline in the overall quality of dancers this past year. I probably won’t be in Portland anytime soon but it still sucks to hear because every time I visited this place the bar was set pretty high.
- A dissenting opinion
I visited Desire and Boardroom on the same day. While Boardroom was marginally better I still cannot comprehend how these 2 clubs occupy the #1 and #4 spots. When I visited Boardroom there were only six dancers and of those 2 or 3 I would even want a dance from. While it was a slow day I would say there was about 20 dudes in the club.
The one thing this place gets right is that it’s full nude and your dollar goes far. That being said I have probably been to well over a dozen clubs that were better than this place.

Never been in it this place looks like the epitome of dives whenever I drive by.

Definitely one of the better clubs in New England. This place doesn’t get the reviews like some of the clubs in Providence. I have been to those clubs and honestly this place was on par or better.

Shrinkflation in full swing. You will pay VIP prices for a regular lap dance and you will like it!
- A sea of empty "reserved" tables
That was my experience at this place to a T. I felt so awkward being there that I just bought a beer and than walked over to shotguns

Mirrors my experience. Barring a few exceptions the lineup was pretty unimpressive.

Your experience could have been my experience. I went there thinking "oh boy this is it!". It was so fucking lame I just decided to throw the towel in. I would say most of the random strip clubs that get very little attention on this site were better than desire.
I think desire really was that good. Than the reputation and money went to managements, and the dancers heads. Than they thought they could just skimp on everything and still make money.
Also, I hate it when they girls try all that extortion bullshit.

So after striking out at desire I was on a mission to try and find a decent strip club. I drove up to Boardroom in Brockton. My experience at Boardroom was far from great but it wasn't bad either. I liked the vibe and interior at that place and your dollar goes far there. The only kicker was there was probably six dancers on duty, and of those six maybe half appealed to me. I bought a few dances from an early 40's MILF and than headed home. I am not complaining because I think that place has potential. Dances are full nude and cheap + they don't songs short.

All I am doing with this review is reporting my experience so that other people can make an informed decision of where to get the best value for their dollar and have a great time. I have read reviews about this place for a really long time and it was on my bucket list.
I went in with an open mind and ready to lavish money on the right dancers and let’s just say my experience was pretty crummy.
Any club where you have to be a regular and be seen there a ton of times before you can get some decent action is a losing proposition in my book.
I am sure I will go back and give it a second shot. Also as a sidenote I have had a pretty lousy run of club outings since moving to New England. I was under the impression that there were some really good clubs out here and so far every single trip has been a dud. I’m not sure if the quality of clubs / dancers nationwide is going down the drain or I have just a really shitty luck. It used to be my batting average was 50%. That is half of my trips I would deem an. Success. I would put that number at like 10% these days. After you strike out enough times it makes you not want to pursue it any longer.

Most overrated club I have ever been to. I just went last week for the first time. I went in with very modest expectations and it failed on every point to meet them. Kind of like going to a five star restaurant where the waiters are assholes and the food they are serving is microwaved crap off the Cisco truck. I’m not sure if it was an off night or they are coasting on their previous reputation, but this place definitely missed the mark.

I did not know they got rid of the LD area. Does that mean there are no lap dances any more? I agree that the bouncers presence is a major buzz kill. When I visited he was basically there but wasn’t too keen on watching people unless they did something egregious.

This place was probably the worst strip club experience in my strip clubbing career. Trust me, I have had some pretty crummy experiences, but this place takes the cake. Some places just suck and you leave with blue balls. This place sucked and I lost a decent chunk of money. You are right about the girls having crappy attitudes. I either got extremely cold vibes from the few good looking girls there, or they were straight up scammers. Management at this place also blows. When I walked in there was a guy arguing with one club employees and things got very heated. I mean this guy was red in the face and about to punch someone. Presumably he got scammed out of some serious coin. That should have been my cue to leave but I pressed onward.
Some places do change though. And if what you are saying is true than that's great. Actually there was a club in Oregon that I visited a long time ago, basically I got really drunk and the girls took me to the cleaners with all sorts of promises about things happening that never did up in the VIP. Fast forward several years and I said what the heck and gave the place a second try, turns out it was one of the best outings after a very long streak of strikeouts.

Couple months ago. I don't know anything about rolling back price increases, but it was one song for 30 in the LD area and 3 for 100 in the semi private area when I was there. Not cheap but not ridiculous either. These strip clubs are going to price themselves out of existence if things keep going up.

"The steady decline continues" That's been my experience post-covid. At first when the clubs re-opened things were alright, as in almost like the good ol' days. Than I noticed a a gradual decline in the quality of dancers and dances at the club as well as an increase in prices. The one club I used to frequent the dancers were asking for ridiculous amounts and the overall quality of everything had gone to shit. These days its about 1 in every 5 outings that I consider to be a success. On the positive side I have gotten very good at sifting through the bullshit and knowing how to cut my losses quickly.

Do the dancers get fully nude, or is it topless? For 40$ per song / 3 for 100$ I could somewhat justify the price if it were nude. If it is just topless than that is a total rip. This place has been on my radar because its only about 1.50 hrs. away.

Good review. I want to visit this place as it is only 2hrs South of me. Desire definitely gets a lot of attention on this site. Strippers and strip club management, generally speaking, is very low time preference in my opinion. It is all about the fast buck, future be damned.
I always make sure to tip extra and re-visit dancers who go out of their way to provide a worthwhile experience. Nothing worse than feeling like you have been had, which is sadly the norm in this industry.

I have been to this place one time, and once was good enough for me. Your experience almost mirrors mine except dances were like 40 bucks per song. When I went the dancers were aggressive and there was probably one good looking chick in the whole place.

Dude I went to this place when I was driving back from Montana to Northwest Washington. It definitely ranks in the top 5 worst strip club experiences for me. I went in mid afternoon and there was only one dancer working. There was a father and son enjoying some quality strip club time together and one dancer on the stage. Other than that there was no one else there. The dancer was actually reasonably hot, bleached blond, decent body, and big bolt-ons. I tried to get a dance from her and she just ignored me and disappeared. At that point there were literally no girls, so I just said what the hells the point of being in a strip club without the females and left. It was strange experience.

I have been to this place before and when it was La Boheme it was alright. Not great but alright. The last time I was there I bought one lame overpriced air dance and than said to myself I am never subjecting myself to this BS ever again.

I would say you got off easy. You were only out 60 bucks. It sucks that happened but it could have been worse. I have paid for a VIP room and the girl demanded I pay her an additional 500$ as soon as we got in there. I said "no thanks, just give me a half hour lap-dance like we agreed". She refused to do anything and kept demanding 500 to 1000 dollars. I ended up cutting my losses and walking out. I also complained to the manager on duty and he just said man that sucks but sometimes this stuff happens.
