A dissenting opinion
At the time of this writing, Boardroom's all the way up to #4 on the TUSCL top 40 with nearby Desire being the only USA club ahead of it. There is no doubt that this club gets a lot of things right: per song dances are cheaper than Rhode Island, Boston, and most North Shore clubs. I didn't see a single dancer on either of my visits that made me question "who is her target audience/why is she here?," and staff is either friendly or intrusive. The VIP rooms are the better than Foxy, Dolls, or (downstairs) Desire.
This review covers two visits in the two weeks leading up to Halloween. One was a busy Saturday night with friends, and the other a slow Wednesday night when I went by myself. For comparisons I'm making with other clubs, I visited three other MA clubs and 2 RI clubs in that time period in the weeks leading up to/immediately after Halloween.
Prices: $10 cover after 7pm. Water is $5 and beer is $7. Dances are $20/song paid directly to the dancer after the dance set concludes. Promos of 2 songs for $30 are run at the whim of the DJ/manager. Upstairs $100 to the house for 30 (or $180 for a half hour) and whatever you negotiate with your dancer. Without fail dancers will ask for $300 for the half hour, but the non-extras girls are flexible on pricing outside of the busiest times. (No VIPs on recent trips, so info on currently negotiated prices may be out of date).
