Left a lot to be desired.

I visited the vaunted Desire for the first time last Sunday at approximately 5 PM in the evening. I have read that Sundays at desire can be slow and you may need to adjust your expectations accordingly. I went in with relatively low expectations. That being said even with my greatly reduced expectations this place totally failed to deliver. How it is ranked #1 in the United States and #2 overall, second only to a literal Tijuana Whorehouse is beyond me. If this is one of the best clubs in the United States than all I can say is the future US strip clubs looks pretty bleak.

This is going to be a critical review because A place that occupies such a high spot on TUSCL and generates a ton of buzz online should be able to back it up. In other words said place should be a departure from the norm and do things that are not easy to replicate, thereby separating itself from the pack. My experience at desire by and large felt decidedly mediocre and I did not leave the building with warm and fuzzies in my stomach as I have left other clubs in outings past. Instead I left the place going "wow, I drove all the way to Providence for this?"

The only positive I can think of was that I was able to maintain self control and cut my losses before blowing tons of money on fruitless pursuits. I saw where the game was going and sometimes the only way to win is not to play.
