I wouldn't have paid them. If the bouncers were doing their job right, they should have let the DJ know you were in VIP. They're probably trying scrape whatever $ they can from you or it's a case of (lack of) favoritism with the DJ.

It could just be the day shift vibe amongst the girls at PHC. I've never worked here, but I've worked some day shifts at my home club in Detroit and always hate it. It's always slow, mundane, and just drags on making me feel (and others) just "bleh". It could be the same here at this club.
It's cool that you tipped the one dancer for chatting with you though.

You failed to bring it to the bouncers' attention. Of course they did nothing. You saw how busy it was there. They don't watch for things like what happened to your wife.
I work here. A manager wouldn't have told you that. A bouncer more than likely did, or an asshole customer did posing as a manager.

You obviously didn't do your homework before going. Your first mistake was assuming ALL clubs are extras friendly.
I work here and know the girls here. Most of them have never worked anywhere else, or they don't want to compete with extras in Detroit.
All Deja Vus are corporatey and the wrist band is to tell the front you paid already for entrance. The host walking you is just a thing they always do.
It is an 18+ club. That's why people go there. 18 - 20 year olds. Keep your ass in metro Detroit. We don't want guys like you there anyway.

This club was a Deja Vu corporate club under the "Hustler" name and still is as "Dream Girls." I work at a Deja Vu and I can tell you, no matter how much "peddling" there is, nobody is putting out here. And if they are or it's known it's happening, somebody is surely getting fired.

Not a lot of us like working Monday nights because it's Sindustry night and the DJs bring in a shitty crowd that doesn't tip or into dances. Nearly every week there's a shortage of girls on Mondays.
However, the later you come in, the more girls there will be for sure.
The parking lot across the street is actually where valeted cars are parked, so it's sort of indirectly affiliated.
There could be a number of reasons for someone not removing their top (drunk and forgot, simply just forgot - it does happen, etc).
The service is, unfortunately, hit or miss. Tons of factors come into play regarding service (are they short staffed, prepping for a bottle service booth, with a booth of regulars, etc).
Next time, go to the second floor and explore. Most customers don't realize the second floor is free to roam and wander. There are more stages, another restroom, and another bar.

I read a lot of customer reviews about clubs and most of them sound similar or have similar formatting. But I enjoyed your review. I've never worked at LS, but you wrote this so I could picture being/working there. Well done.

I was working that night. There were four officers in normal uniforms. They walked in and two used the restroom, one chatted with a bouncer, and one knew someone at a booth. One knew the bouncer and they were all patrolling together. They stayed no longer than a few minutes.
Uniform police stop in often. They are not vice and stop in to make sure the crowd isn't rowdy and for a free show.

They were raided during dayshift. The customers that were there, if many or any, probably left during or after the raid.

I work here, too. Although I can't tell you why and at what time they start charging for a booth, I can tell you those who buy them seem more into partying and girls who get shitfaced also frequent them more as well.
The tables and bar seats get you great attention here.

And yes, I coat check at Criket on Sun/Mon as a favor to my friend who also coat checks and dance at Legends. See you soon hopefully. :)
