Gave Penthouse another chance

The wife and I were in the mood for dinner and a show. Our last visit here was less that spectacular. In fact, a lot less than spectacular. It has been a while since we've gone out to "the club" together so we decided to go somewhere familiar. We started off a little shaky. Our usual daytime "bouncer" Brian was no longer working at the club. Instead we were greeted by Sal. He asked if we wanted a table or the bar. He should have been quicker to offer us a booth, but I had to ask for it. I slipped him the usual $20, although he didn't ask for it. Then he got friendlier with us. All in all, he was super nice and very attentive. He came by to check on us pretty regularly. I think we have a new favorite doorman.

We ordered dinner. The price is right and the food is great. The stager must have been sick as our salad, appetizer and dinner all came to our table within 10 minutes of each other. Food was hot and good (and fast). Appetizer and two entrees were $50 without drinks. On that note, there were only 6 patrons, in addition to us, when we arrived at around 4:30p.

And now, the girls. (saving the best for last). To be honest, we're not big into dances and extras are my wife's job when we get home. There were less than 10 dancers but we both thought the quality was pretty amazing for a late afternoon day shift. Most of the girls were hot. No bolt-ons, but some very sexy boobs. We were actually approached by two dancers, but neither were our taste and we politely declined. No other dancers came to say hi to us. We decided that there's a conspiracy among the dancers and they told the rest of the dancers not to come say hi to us.

Valet is still $8, so that's $10 to pull of of the parking lot.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the talent, the quality of the food and the staff. We're really hoping this place is bouncing back after the closure earlier this year.
