It's not just the media, it's the government too. They've already declared it not a terror event but his social media comments about wanting to knock out white people indicate that could be a motive. For sure, if the races were reversed and white person had made similar comments then all of the media would have declared it a hate crime.

There's a story on CNN's website titled "What we know about what happened at the Wisconsin Christmas parade" that was supposedly updated this morning at 7:30 yet they still don't report on the name and picture of the suspect that's been known since last night.

One of the funniest things about the trial is that the prosecution gave the defense a different lower quality version of a drone video while the prosecutors used a high-def version as evidence. When the difference was pointed out by the defense the prosecutors played innocent and ignorant of how that could have happened. Then someone showed a picture of the prosecutor's laptop screen showing that he had the video processing software handbrake on his laptop. Yet previously the prosecutor had claimed he didn't have the technical knowledge to do that.
