Explains how he was first noticed driving through the parade staging area and then turned onto the main parade route. He was honking his horn at the beginning. Twice officers on foot tried to stop him at intersections to divert him away from the parade.

There's this specific post from june 2020 where he comments about retaliating against white people:

Waukesha is over 90% white and less than 2% black. So pretty good chance there's wasn't going to be many black people there.
No one knows for sure why this happened or his motive but the possibility of this being a hate attack shouldn't have been immediately dismissed. The police stated it wasn't a terrorist attack but we don't know the motive. If they don't know the motive then terror attack shouldn't have been eliminated. Also the police have stated that they had checked his social media and found nothing to indicate a hate attack was possible. I would say his quoted post indicates that it is a possibility. He specifically mentions old white people and then runs over a bunch of grandmas.

It's not just the media, it's the government too. They've already declared it not a terror event but his social media comments about wanting to knock out white people indicate that could be a motive.
For sure, if the races were reversed and white person had made similar comments then all of the media would have declared it a hate crime.

First, there's video of him crashing the barricade and there's an open street to his left. If you're trying to get away from something he should have taken the open road instead of going through the barricade.
Secondly, other's have saved evidence of his social media posts and there's plenty evidence there to question whether this was a revenge attack.

Everyone on the internet knew the guys name because police recovered the ID Brooks left in his car and talked about it over the police scanner. Does NPR, when acting as news organization, do any investigation themselves or do they just regurgitate official statements while also making up their own narratives.

You can go to https://wcca.wicourts.gov/ and search for Darrell Brooks to see cases against him. In the case reports is his address. Plug that address in to google maps and you can see the red SUV parked in front of the address.

One of the funniest things about the trial is that the prosecution gave the defense a different lower quality version of a drone video while the prosecutors used a high-def version as evidence. When the difference was pointed out by the defense the prosecutors played innocent and ignorant of how that could have happened. Then someone showed a picture of the prosecutor's laptop screen showing that he had the video processing software handbrake on his laptop. Yet previously the prosecutor had claimed he didn't have the technical knowledge to do that.
