    Dancer Hygiene
I've run into this occasionally, and it's a real jolt when it happens. Annoying because poor customer hygiene is probably the #1 complaint strippers have.

    Strippers: A love/hate relationship.
I went to my first club in 1984, and IMO/E the stuff you hate comes from taking it too seriously. Enjoy it but don't let it get into your head.

    Making it Rain Research
I have never fucking understood it either. It's always either a) guys thinking it impresses everyone, when in fact it makes you look like an attention whore, or b) noobs who think it's something you're supposed to do in a SC. I've been SC'ing since the mid-80s, and used to be you never saw it.

    Traveler's Guide to OTC
Great article, and consistent with my experiences. You never quite come out and say this, but what I see here is that you're confident what you're doing. Knowing what you want and not being a confused mark goes a long way toward making the girl comfortable with the idea. Being classy and patient, and working on the connection before trying for OTC is the way to go IME.

Your First Visit to a Strip CLub
All good advice. One thing I'd add, and maybe put at the top, is just to keep your wits about you. Never forget you're dealing with people who make their living separating you from your money, and not all of them will be scrupulous about it. Nearly all types of trouble in a SC can be spotted in advance if you have your eyes open and trust you gut. Don't leave your common sense at the door, and never drink so much you're not in control yourself.

    A Lesson Learned
Going to agree with everyone else. In my entire life, I have never seen an OTC meet turn into a relationship worth pursuing. Anytime a stripper starts pumping you for money like that, you're being played. At least you figured it out only $367 in. I've seen guys get take for far worse, not just money but major scams that fucked up their lives.
