A stranger requesting a drink right off the bat is poor, I agree with your feelings. I will actually offer to buy some girls drinks if they have been good to me in the past and if they will sit on my lap and let me kind of feel on them for a couple drinks.

I also would rather go to Plat Plus Columbia, even though there are so many beauties at UC. Many spoiled dancers, some wanting more than the minimum dance rates without much touching

Smoking is allowed inside I confirmed. Must have a good ventilation system because I did not really notice on my visit

I believe smoking was allowed, but now remember door girl outside smoking as I left...so maybe not. I will find out and let you know

I was there today (Sunday) and there were a handful of white dancers. Granted not as much as 2 or 3 years ago but a handful. You're implication is correct though IMO there is a decline since I first started going about 5 years ago.

I feel your pain being a middle age, medium build, white guy with fair skin who tries to stay in good shape and pays dancers well. At Follies, because of the low cost of dances, girls can choose whoever they want and many girls who I would love to be with pass me over for younger guys, bigger guys, or guys of a different race. Even when I smile at them, many look away and pass me by.

Very good review, much appreciated. Was planning to stop by Oasis Saturday night, and this really helps since I am an out-of-towner and only familiar with Follies.

A wise member of TUSCL once said 'do not pay a dancer until after the dance'. This is not easy or me to enforce in the moment, but it is wise advise that I try to follow because of so many dishonest strippers.

Thanks for publishing this. She has treated me poorly in the past and is very good looking. But this helps me know how to deal with her in the future.

This Club is notorious for dancers charging more than $10 for table and girls not telling until after the dances. I have learned to simply refuse and no girl has ever argued with me. If dances are above and beyond exceptional then maybe I will not refuse, but it has not happened yet.

Questionable review at best. Most lame Club in Charlotte perhaps. Girls trying to make money merely for looking pretty. Still though I attend the lunch buffets often, but only as a warm up to visiting other clubs to buy dances.

I feel your pain dancers in Charlotte are spoiled in my opinion. I turn down any dancer that requests more than $10 table dance up front. And if they tell me after, I refuse. None has ever escalated it to mgmt and if they do I would love to hear what mgmt says since I have been a customer for 10 years and know the prices.

Sorry to be clear and answer your question, the answer is 'no' there is no extra room fee for the room beyond the $175

For 30 minutes it was $175 for the room including a mid level champagne bottle. I don't know anything about champagne, nor care to, but she wanted this one which I think was $25 higher than the lowest price choice.

I went to Scarlett's about a month ago during the day and was disappointed big time (although the food was top notch). I might have well stayed in North Carolina. Based on my one visit, don't see why anyone would choose Scarlett's over Cheetah down the road. Let's hope this industry is not a 'dying breed' but hopefully you meant just this one club.

When I said no touching I meant the customer is not allowed to touch dancer tits or ass. That's how it was explained to me by more than one dancer. I went on a Thursday, and the rule was apparently put in place 2 days prior by mgmt. Dancers still can touch customers anywhere...it's sometimes the only way for a non English speaking dancer to entice customers to private dance area. With respect to whether it's 3/$90 or 3/$100 I defer to the local reviewers, as I have only gone back there for extras and thus have always paid more.

Nevertheless it is rare...I travel to Georgia and S FL several times a year just to experience it. Extras can be had depending upon your definition. I've seen a guy at the bar with his fingers inside a dancer's butt hole. She was smiling. I've had a dancer reach inside my pants in the 'friction' area. As I understand dancer are supposed to keep their bottoms on in the friction area gut many do not and mgmt. did not seem to care
