Why do I bother?
I don't go to this club often. For me, only about 1 trip in 10 is enjoyable and fun. Unfortunately, this trip wasn't one of the enjoyable experiences. Although I have never had any problems with the parking lot, it does put me on my guard (as does most of Charlotte). I arrived around 5:00-5:30. I realize that is early, and the A Team at most clubs don't come in until much later (if this club even has an A Team). I sat at the bar, had a drink. Didn't see anyone even remotely that I would be interested in. At least no one approached me so I didn't have to fight off any uglies. I decided to go to the Men's Club to eat dinner, then come back. I was the only one there, but didn't really care because I was only there to eat. Quesadillas are outstanding!! I ate and left.
Returned to the GC. By then it was around 7 (not quite sure of the exact time), which is shift change for the bartenders. As soon as I sat down the day bartender said there would be no more drinks until she had "closed" out. 30 minutes later, there were still no drinks. The night bartender was still running around, doing something. She left the bar area completely saying she had to do something?? I have never been the manager of a strip club but I think I could coordinate a better shift change than that. There were some night gals coming in. I was sitting at the end of the bar next to the door where employees enter and leave. I did no see anyone coming in that I would spend money on, plus I couldn't even buy a drink. I decide to give up and call it a night.
I know some guys that enjoy themselves at this club. It seems that day shift might be more exciting and with more naughty dancers. For me, it just doesn't cut the mustard. It is somewhat run-down in appearance. They have upgraded the bath rooms in the past year, but other than that it's somewhat on the sleezy side.
