Same here, chief. Good early memories, it was the first club I went to in the Chicago area. Once I found the looser rules at other establishments, I stopped going. Still, I remember the lunch special they used to run. Pay the $10 cover and you get a free burger and fries (it was called the "booby burger", I recall). Plus you could get the text for a free cover and thus be watching dancers and eating a burger completely for free.

To 59: Your point is taken, I guess I use the word cheap simply to mean low in price, with no implication as to value. You can go down the road to scores and pay $10 more per song for the same amount of grabbing, but it's topless with no nylons so its worth the extra cost. My dances were ok, but like I said there are guys that stay in the dance area for a long time, presumably plopping down $20 per song until they...get what they came for.
Chiefwiggum- seems like the talent was much better on my visit than yours. I was there at prime time on a Friday evening. No nudity to be seen, best I got was one of my three dancers taking her tits out a little.

I don't think Scores has a nude option, strictly a topless club. Was there recently and normal dances are $30 for topless. Unless I'm really missing something or something has changed, this review is inaccurate.

If dancer quality is your only factor, I guess you can consider it best in the Midwest. But $28 to get in the door? At 7pm? That's not the Midwest I know and love.

"for heavy tippers it can be like Rickey's" - seems wild to me, but I moved away from Milwaukee 3 years ago. I have been to both TJs and Rickey's multiple times, though. If this is true, I guess it just shows how things can change.

Hate to be pedantic, but Aurora is the second largest city in Illinois, not Rockford. Also - definitely coming off like a club ad.

I've taken a bus a few times. There's one that picks me up 5 blocks from my house in Milwaukee and drops me off across the street from Texas Jay's. Super convenient, can drink however much I want. I wish it were easy to get to every club by bus.

I am curious about OTB and plan to try it sometime, but based on all the reviews it doesn't sound like a place for mileage any better than any other club in the milwaukee area.

I agree with the first comment, sounds sort of like a club ad. Though I have been to the airport lounge and agree with most of the assessment, the drink prices claimed are only realistic during happy hour, where they actually have a pretty good deal.

I've been to Texas Jays. I'm not sure how the Milwaukee laws are any less strict than West Allis. In fact, Heartbreakers and Spotlite (both in West Allis) are the only places I've been in the area that allowed any touching.
