So I generally would bring about 1K in cash but that was only for tipping and would probably spend about $2 to 300 of that if it was just lap dances. I would use a credit card for drinks and they key to using a credit card in a club it make sure you have a waitress you trust and get her every time. Or at least ask her to refer you to another waitress if she's not going to be there. But I would use the card to by my drinks, dancer drinks, the waitress drinks, any food, etc.. and the bottle.

I was wondering about this myself. I will be in Houston in a couple of weeks and, in the past, the mileage in the VIP was great. However, now I understand that clubs can't have a VIP room anymore? Has anyone here been to a Houston club in the last few months that can comment?

I used to go the Gold Cup in Houston quite a bit on Sunday afternoons. It was pretty dead. However, there were usually a few girls working and, because it was so slow, you dollar would stretch a lot further since there was absolutely no other business in the club. But.... your choices are limited...

You know what I would like? If clubs would just charge you what you owed instead of trying to inflate the bill so you didn't have to worry about your credit card. The rule is to only use cash at these places, right? If I could feel comfortable charging my drinks and VIP service without getting ripped off I would spend SO much more money.
I get the girls are going to try to hustle you (it goes with the territory) but there should be no reason not to be able to trust the club with your credit card like you would almost anywhere else.
