Stripper given fake $50 bill
If you don't have the money, don't pretend you do! That's horribly sad.

uh oh rookie needs help
We talk about customers to a certain degree...but it wouldn't be in ANY girl's best interest to discuss any extras she's provided. Strippers talk...and when strippers talk, it attracts attention from management. In any club where contracts are in the mix, it's best to keep your mouth shut unless you're not doing anything dirty.

5-alarm fire under control in Baltimore
We haven't increased prices on anything. It's frustrating though. Apparently the ATF, while investigating the fire, is telling people that we're closed. Hustler is definitely not closed. This is just like any other business. We've had one guest all day because most people don't know we have a side entrance.

Baltimore After the Fire
According to management and the police, Hustler is closed until further notice which, I have to admit, is extremely frustrating. I'd like to be able to go to work at some point. I'm not sure about the other clubs. I'll be contacting city police today to see if they know anything.

5-alarm fire under control in Baltimore
I was actually working when the fire broke out. I got a large amount of photos and video from the Hustler Club windows before the police came and had us evacuate the building. While I'm relieved that we're not suffering from anything more than smoke damage, I have to express my sympathy for the girls working in the clubs across the street. The Blue Mirror (formerly Mouse Trap II) was only open for about a month before all of this happened and, while there are still other clubs on the block, it's really unfortunate to see such an historic building completely destroyed. I really doubt anything will be salvaged. :(

How to be a less pathetic PL
Haha, dougster. Nice one. I have to give you credit... But, if it weren't for us poor, pathetic whores, where would you go to get a BBBJ? Honest question.

I completely agree with the "pathetic stripper" comment. It's pretty easy to tell if a guy doesn't want a dance with you. That's when, in theory, you should get up and move on. I spend a lot of time commuting to and from work every day and sometimes have to pull doubles. It's true that making $20 an hour is pretty damn good, however, if you're at work for a seven hour shift and you make $20 in one hour and then there's a lull in the amount of guests in the club, the amount being made isn't consistent. It can flat out suck working for tips sometimes. In an ideal situation, I could be making upwards of a grand each shift, but that rarely happens with the economy how it is...so my best bet is to maximize my dance count with people who actually want them instead of sitting with someone who just wants to "keep me from everyone else". It just makes sense. On a side note, my "stripper shit" does not involve kids, a deadbeat boyfriend, or a drug habit. I don't spend my money on frivolous things because, let's be real, I don't really feel like being a stripper forever...despite how much I enjoy my job. I've got a lot of student loans to pay from my bachelors degree and a savings account that needs a little extra padding. Honestly, I didn't mean to offend anyone with the post, but it appears I did anyway. Sorry y'all.

Hey, I never meant to insult/offend anyone with this. The point I was attempting to make (however unsuccessfully) is the fact that it's irritating to have someone obsess over you simply for doing your job...simply because you're a stripper. I'd much rather have someone be interested in me based upon who I am in my "real life". The strip club is a place in which the dancer provides a service and the guest receives said service (whatever that may be...I'm not one to judge in that respect). My post was aimed at those who can't seem to grasp that concept. I can't really explain better than that right now as 14 hours of work have left me rather inebriated. My apologies to all offended parties.

The couple's decision to go clubbing
From a dancer's perspective, it's always difficult deciding whether or not to approach a couple. It's hard to tell if the female half is comfortable in the situation...and even when we think they are, sometimes they're really not. I love couples who are very clear about what they expect from their visit and, let's be real here, it's a ton of fun giving a lady a lapdance if she's there for the full experience!

Working the Pole: A Disappearing Art?
I definitely enjoy spending a lot of time on the pole at work. The unfortunate thing, from my perspective, is that a good majority of our guests are unaware of proper tipping etiquette. Dancers are much more motivated to actually put on a better show when those sitting at the tip rail are actually tipping. I've even seen girls sit down in the middle of the stage for the duration of their sets because their logic says, "why bother?". It's a vicious cycle. Pole work (and floor work, to a lesser extent) can be rather physically taxing. A lot of girls get lazy when they don't feel that their dancing is appreciated. Personally, I see my stage set as a reflection of how much I've improved as a dancer since I started out. I take pride in it... So, I can see how a lot of strippers don't even bother if they're not being tipped. If they ARE being tipped and they're not trying to impress guests on stage, they're either lazy or they simply can't dance. :)
