I'm guessing it's probably not much different from many people working at a job they're not too fond of, and if there's a chance to screw off they will. The big difference is that strippers usually don't get paid if they screw off.
And what's equally annoying is the dancers (usually the ones I want a lap from) who are extremely picky about who they ask for a dance from. Jeez, you're not getting married, you're just doing a lap dance.

From my experience this might seem pretty straightforward, but in fact is a very challenging issue. For years I've searched for the ideal lapdance attire, but have never found the ideal. The problem is that most clothing fabric, even the smoothest microfiber/polyester basketball shorts are still a bit too scratchy when it comes to continual rubbing on very sensitive skin. And while you might think the ultra thin, stretchy shorts are ideal, in fact I've found the elastic fabric to be even scratchier. Pure cotton shorts are slightly better, but still too scratchy. I think probably the closest would be something like super high thread count cotton sheets, but I don't think they make shorts from that. The Liquid Lapdance seems to be a great invention, although you pretty much lose the direct tactile feeling you get with really thin shorts. So far the best I've found is some really soft polyester Champion (?) shorts with a microfiber lining. The lining is the key, since it lets the fabric slide. Next best is some insanely think elastic shorts, which are great in the tactile department, but are way to scratchy and barely slide.
BTW, I tried to search for the other lapdance attire threads, and it seems TUSCL doesn't have a thread search feature, so I tried unsuccessfully to find them with Google. After about 30 pages of manually scrolling back I gave up.

Thanks Papi. Wow, that's just strange. After decades of clubbing all over the place, it's pretty strange to have a club where a lot of dancers won't even do VIP. Usually that's all they talk about. And sorry, I don't buy the "no risk, no reward" argument. My #1 rule of clubbing is to take dancers for a test drive, find out who's VHM, and take out the serious cash and get down with some serious mileage. I realize these clubs are different, but in terms of an objective review, my bottom line is that the MIA clubs, while nice, just aren't anywhere near VHM, and probably not somewhere I'll return to for strip clubs.

Well, okay, I've been to KH8 MANY times over many years, and your experience there seems like an exception, to say the least. But just in case someone is reading these reviews, keep in mind that you probably aren't going to get "UHM" out on the floor at these clubs in Miami, even though some might refer to their experience as "UHM". From my experience, they don't even try to get you off, and unless you're happy with butt rubbing you might be disappointed.

Los Angeles. And have you ever been to KH8? You guys can't be serious when you talk about black clubs in L.A. not being high mileage. Like I said, they're a dying breed, so a bunch are no longer around (First King, Starz has turned to crap, and so on...). And for non-black clubs, have you been to Flamingo, or Synn, or the old Sahara Industry, or any of the Industry clubs?

I suppose. But one thing I've learned over decades of club visits around the US is if you have to ask for mileage she's probably not into it, and you're probably wasting your money. Usually if she's giving good mileage you know it. The good ones can easily do a little hand stroking even in the open to let you know.

Thanks Papi. You mentioned in a recent review here you got UHM with a bar dance out on the floor, which generally means insertion. Y'know, fucking (or BJ). And I've been to a number of low cost clubs where the dancer will walk up and start stroking, even just to say hello, out on the floor. One of my favorite black clubs in LA I'd get an HJ out on the floor. I guess clubs like that are a dying breed.

I went Nov. last year, on a Thursday, maybe 2pm. Place was packed, nowhere to sit, lots of girls, but I had trouble finding one that interested me for a lap dance. Totally average looking girls. And I didn't see any high mileage going on anywhere in the club, mostly tame butt grinding. I dunno, maybe I just came on a really bad day

Maybe it depends on what you consider mileage. Touching a girl is not mileage. Having her brush her butt against your dick once in a while is not mileage. Reaching up your shorts and stroking you is mileage. Trying hard to make you cum is mileage. Is that Follies?

I continue to be impressed at the strip club codes you guys use...$$, $, Jeffersons, putting ** in names like G*na...wow.
And what's so amazing is that ONLY strip club goers can decode it, but nobody in law enforcement has a clue what it means. I can just see them scratching their heads...what can "$$" possibly mean???

Yeah, me too. Sounds like my perfect club. But after my real-life visit there, I found nothing but VERY average girls, no place to sit or get a lap dance, I didn't see any significant mileage (outside the VIP), and I wandered around and around for a couple hours scratching my head. Maybe I went to the wrong Follies....

The problem is that I doubt we'll ever hear if they actually do get rid of this ridiculous fee. Seems to me most of the "reviews" for this club are from guys who don't actually visit, and keep repeating what the last guy said.

Yeah, I just noticed a comment from back on May 26 saying they started taking $20 to get into the LD area. So does that mean all the guys posting reviews and comments since then are posting BS and never actually visited?? Wow, go figure....

My thoughts exactly based on my only trip to Follies. Best I can determine is either the guys in Atlanta have never been to a really good club and don't realize that Follies is not much more than average, or they're all caught up in some sort of hype. The place was too crowded on a weekday afternoon to find a seat or a place to get a dance, the girls were average at best, the mileage outside the VIP was medium at best, and the whole experience left me scratching my head. Strange...

I challenge anyone to go in there this week and let us know what they found. TWICE, with two different dancers, they both told me matter-of-factly that it's $20 to enter the lapdance area. Not the VIP, the regular lapdance area. Effectively you pay $40 for the first dance, and $20 for each subsequent dance, unless you leave the LD area, and the next time you enter you pay another $20 just to enter. One dancer is a ripoff, but TWO dancers is probably the club. Must be something new.
