Good review, phillyzzz. I still have not been anywhere since things started to reopen so I coughed up the $8.95 for a month VIP. Glad to see there are good times available, I just have to decide if it is worth the risk.

I am not one to pre-negotiate at the bar but there valid reasons to do so. However I have no problem cutting it at one and done when a girl posts crazy rates. And $100 for Billy and $60 for Harry at the PO are crazy rates. Having said that, if you felt it was money well spent, then it was, well, money well spent.

I agree with the comment from one of the self appointed "adjudicators" ... a bit too explicit. One can get the point across without being too specific. However this may be a mute point as it seems Mercedes has moved on.

Come on desertscrub get a freaking clue. How can anyone with a modicum of common sense call a review entitled "Still Sucks" a shill review or club ad?

Not quite sure why this review was approved. It's pretty much a worthless rambling monologue providing little information aside from the fact that he loves AA girls and apparently is confused about the proper use of the conjunction "but".

I put that idiot desertscrub on ignore a while ago. Some people should be banned from commenting on reviews here, and he should be at the top of the list.

Entry fee at 2 pm? Never in any of my visits, which have been many. By the way I also never throw money at the girls while they're dancing. If they're not motivated enough to come around and say "Hi" and offer a welcoming handshake after they're done dancing I'm not interested.

It’s a shame, as recently as a few months ago things were starting to look promising. That’s gone out the window. I wouldn’t be shocked if they phase out the dancers completely.

I can't get past Mahogany's cigarette breath. I agree with the assessment of Riley and Ivy. Riley is also into dkf if that's your thing.

Recent mentions of Seven, mine included, have been similarly disappointing. Quite handsy at the bar. Not quite interested in finishing the deal in back.

How does this place stay in business? Or perhaps the greater question is why?

Clubber and minnow, has anyone ever suggested you two are broken records? I know you guys disagree but in my very humble opinion not every review needs to contain detailed descriptions of the bar, the bathrooms, the lighting, and and prices for every recreational activity available.

I could do without the "Urban Slang" prose or whatever you want to call it but hey maybe that's just me. FYI yes it is a predominantly black dancer club. And I emphasize "dancer". But customers range from black to white to in between. I'm a somewhat older white guy and have never felt uncomfortable here. Basically, plenty goes on in the $20 public room. More in the $30 private rooms, of which there are two not three but who's counting? Choose wisely and you will be rewarded accordingly. I do agree with the comments about ending at one dance with the girls who take forever to remove their stripper boots!

I don't begrudge those who opt for $160 VIP treatment. It is just not my choice. When I go to a club I prefer to play the field, judge the talent, and retire to a private or semi private area to see how things work out, and get out at $100 total. I have had good times, and bad times but that is my MO. And sartsa I agree the couches at the Orchid are rather sketchy. I'm not rolling around naked on them. But to each his own of course.

I was just there yesterday (Monday) afternoon. I’ll post a full review when time permits. In the meantime, during the entire extent of my nearly 2 hour visit not one of the dancers removed a stitch of clothing. Is this a new policy here, does anyone know? Or was it just bad timing on my part.

I loved this review from the girl's perspective. It changed my impression regarding couples in strip clubs. I totally thought dancers migrated to couples, enjoying the opportunity to enjoy a little girl on girl fun. Well written, clearly and concisely detailed. Thank you, margo.

I disagree with the incoherent remarks. I actually enjoyed reading it. It was fun deciphering the gobbledygook. Now I know not to waste my time heading to University City should I venture out on a Saturday night.
