They never tell you what you need to know.
Camrys were made in Japan until the Georgetown, Kentucky plant was built in the mid-'80s. Gradually, they transitioned to where all Camrys were made in Kentucky by 1990. Also, engines, body stampings and brakes/suspension are made locally. Honda does likewise in Ohio, and Nissan in Tennessee.
A little over 10 years ago, Isuzu ceased manufacturing Rodeos in the joint-venture plant they owned in Lafayette, Indiana. The line was moved to Beijing (yes, you can still buy a Rodeo in China!) Subaru acquired the half of the Lafayette plant they didn't own and built the Tribeca SUV on the second line. It flopped, so Subaru did a deal with Toyota. Georgetown builds all the world's Avalons and can't build enough Camrys to meet demand. So Subaru is under contract to build about 30,000 Camrys (all the base model cars) a year in Lafayette.
Regardless, Made in USA for 25 years. Comparable Chevys are made in Canada.

Hotels in San Antonio are variable. There are lots of conventions and special celebrations that randomly book up all the hotels, making it hard to get a reservation and/or the prices go way up. The one hotel that I have found to be both acceptable quality (to me) and resistant to this problem is the Holiday Inn Express NW Medical Center (on Spencer). It is handy enough to the airport (near the junction of Loop 410 and I-10. Unlike any hotel closer to the airport, the parking is free and does not require an access code, but there is always enough of it. The hotel is near the northwest branch of I-10, which has a good assortment of dining at normal prices (not Riverwalk prices). County Line barbecue is pretty good, or it's a short run up I-10 to Rudy's if you want real Local Color. I-10 going the other way offers convenient access to downtown and the Alamo.

In Dutch (and German) Sucker (Zucker) means sugar, so it's Sugar Garden Road. Seems kind of appropriate, no?

This discussion is missing a major factor. SCs largely serve out-of-towners. This explains rankings like Nevada and Florida. Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan all benefit from Chicagoans. etc., etc.

A couple of weeks ago, the court upheld a new City ordinance that could put a real damper on things. At this point, it is not clear whether the clubs will appeal the ruling, or how strictly/how soon the ordinance might be enforced.
Until then, check the reviews for:
Tiffany's Cabaret (fun stage tipping routine, $5 dances)
The Palace (fabulous dancer quality)
San Antonio Men's Club (very high mileage)
Paradise (dive with extras)

My summertime LD outfit is running shorts (soft material - you may have to remove the mesh liner) over satin boxers. The two layers make an excellent friction break for the grind. The satin feels good to me and the soft shorts feel good to the dancer. Buy both shorts one size oversize for good access from the waist or from the pantleg -- dancer's choice. It's tricky to find the running shorts with a pocket in the back, where you need to keep your keys and your wallet. My faves are from Scherzinger in Australia.
Winter is a little harder. Keep the satin boxers. My latest find for the pants is from Macy's pajama department. Found an all-black pair with the pocket in the back. They look pretty normal, once you stitch the fly closed. The dancers marvel at the soft material!
Up-scale clubs like The Palace in San Antonio enforce a dress code requiring a fly and a belt. I haven't tried the jammies there yet, but they have a fly and look sufficiently normal that I think they will pass.

I was there last week. The Block (400 East block of Baltimore, at Commerce) is where you need to go, but navigating The Block is a little dicey. Most require you to spend money on drinks for the dancer, then on the dance. Exception: Little Darlings, downstairs at the corner of Custom House. It's not fancy, but it is reasonable. Hopefully the construction is done, so you can go in the back where there is better privacy. Extras are the norm.

There are "lingerie modeling" shops in Rockford, Illinois. Young ladies wearing bustiers or other lingerie greet you in the reception area. You choose one and pay the house a fee for to be with the model for a specified period. Signs in the modeling rooms make it clear that the house does not condone any illegal behavior. That's the premise.
However, if you tip the model, she is highly likely to do whatever consenting adults do in private. No amounts are discussed, nor are any acts discussed. Of course, the better the tip, the more she is likely to volunteer to do.
