Sunset Strip would probably be it, since it's in a more central location.
After a little more research I found a few others open on Sun: Nags Head, Queen Anne, Ye Olde Axe, Rainbow Sports Bar, LA Confidential - in case anyone else is asking the same questions...
I am really not looking for anything special, just a chill place to pass the time... and to add one more city to my list ;)

Spearmint Rhino on Tottenham Court Rd is open; the one on Heathrow is closed (it looked better to me). Stringfellows is also closed on Sunday.
Unfortunately I am there only for one day. I have a stopover for about 24h. And once again in Jan... but it'll be Sunday again! :(
I hope Spearmint Rhino are not as strict to the dress code as they say on their website.

yes... I am *not* expecting lap dances at pole dance competition!
The page explicitly says "no nudity".
There is even a sample video... it looks more acrobatic than erotic, so quite distant from what you see in strip clubs, but I still find it worth seeing!

Interesting topic!
Well, the reality is many girls don't put a lot of effort and creativity in the actual stage dance. Similarly customers don't go there for the stage dance ;)
I guess certain clubs are exceptions, of course.
I'd really love to see some quality dancing...

Nice list, but for #1 I don't see how this concept is gone in all other business dealings.
Still plenty of capitalism in this country, for better or for worse...
