Definitely a fake review. I was there on a Thursday night and there was over 100 customers, including over 30 from Lido. The Dominican girls from Scores are working at HQ. There were over 20 GND girls at the private VIP Lido Lounge. Wonderland is the new hot trendy Flatiron club.

This review was when Le Rouge was at the Hustler Club at 641 West 51st Street in Hell's Kitchen. The new Le Rouge location is at the Wonderland Club at 20 West 20th Street in Flatiron and is way better. L:e Rouge has its own private VIP lounge with a lot more Lido girls. The quality of the dancers is much higher. You are not being hustled by the club dancers who are immediately trying to get you into an expensive private room.

Le Rouge also offers Non-Members admission for $30. According to an earlier post, if you provide the password "TUSCL Special", you also get a free premium drink ticket anytime you enter (not just before 10 PM.)

Admission to Le Rouge Lounge is only $20 per person. The Early Bird Special provides for a free lap dance card which is a $20 value. You are effectively getting in for free. During the post-New Year's lull, Le Rouge also offered a free drink during Happy Hour. That was a temporary promotion which has been discontinued. @Biseggi joined TUSCL in January 2020 and this was his first review. More seasoned reviewers would appreciate the existing Early Bird special, rather than complaining.

All major clubs today have professional ID scanners and require patrons to have their ID scanned even if they appear to be over 21 years of age. The 27th Street location has failed to invest in even a basic ID scanner to help detect fake IDs and underage drinkers. Underage drinking is a serious problem which could lead to a venue losing their liquor license.

@Wall_Street is a fake profile that was made in August 2019 for the sole illegitimate purpose of placing a phony comment on this discussion thread. I have been a member of TUSCL since 2006 and active with New York City strip clubs since then and never heard of Steve Lido. Obviously, Steve Lido is a fake and an impostor. Steve Lido must be the same phony @Wall_Street profile. This review from @Wall_Street has no credibility and is all lies.
Joe Lido is the original creator of the New York lap dance party. The real Lido party relocated to a much better venue on West 39th Street, off 5th Avenue. The former venue on West 27th Street, off 11th Avenue, is "bad mouthing" the real Lido in a desperate attempt to keep customers there. However, none of the Old Lido customers and Old Lido dancers want to go to a commercial strip club where they are mixed in with trashy strippers with fake tits and fake asses that want to hustle you.

Old Lido never had private rooms. Now that Lido is associated with fully licensed adult entertainment clubs, VIP rooms are available. While the VIP rooms offer a more private dance, the VIP rooms are expensive and regulated.

I have been to Masked Nights and Corporate Door which small unlicensed lap dance parties and I would never go back. If you are a married professional, you don't want to go to an underground club and get caught in the middle of a police raid. Lido is at a fully licensed legitimate adult venue and you have nothing to worry about.
Lido's move to Sapphire is way better then Scores, because now Lido has its own VIP floor which is completely separate from the strip club.

It was not a mere "internal spat." Founder Joe Lido relocated Lido to the exclusive 2nd Floor of Sapphire in response to many complaints from Lido customers who did not like the vibe of the large commercial Scores strip club where they were mixed in with the professional strippers from Scores who were aggressive and very annoying.
A few staff and dancers who would not fit in at the new upscale location stayed at Scores.
In the new Lido Lounge, it is only Lido customers and Lido dancers at the bar and in the lap dance room. This makes a huge difference and is more akin to the Old Lido experience of the "Girl Next Door" and "No Hustle."

When I went to the new Lido at 39 Street, I was able to engage in conversations with intelligent women and got a good grind in the lap dance room. While it may have strip club rules, It was a also very classy and I could bring a wealthy client there.

Went to the new Lido Lounge location on 39th Street off 5th Avenue and its like the Old Lido where you can have a conversation with a normal girl who does not seem like a stripper. I met some hot girls that really enjoyed the lap dances, as well. I felt like I was at a private lounge with a lot of beautiful women who were interested in me.

Went to the Lido Lounge on 20 W 39th Street and saw Joe Lido and a lot of the regular Lido girls there and knew I was at the right place. Not as large as Union Square or Space Ibiza, but more elegant.
I would stay away from the phony Lido Room at West 27th Street as it is just a promoter for Scores which is not the Lido vibe for "no hustle" and the "Girl Next Door."

I had the same complaints about getting constantly getting approached by the Scores strippers at Lido. At the new location on 39th Street, those problems have vanished. Much better now.

I went there on Thursday night and my experience was similar. At about 11 PM, there were about 35 girls and 40 customers. The separation of Lido dancers from the professional strippers made a huge difference.

Silly Rabbit at Executive Club is no longer competition to Lido as it closed down a few weeks ago as it lost popularity and could not meet its bar guaranty.

The problems you mentioned with Lido at Scores are either exaggerated or resolved now that Lido has moved out of Scores and into a new location on 39th Street off 5th Avenue.

I also complained to the owners of Lido about the same problems. I am glad they moved from Scores two weeks ago to a new location on 39th Street in Midtown with their own floor where you are no longer attacked by aggressive professional strippers.

We listen to our customers and understand your concerns about the "scores girls are all enhanced (big rack and butt) and are very aggressive" and that having it at Scores "now forces to get pressure from the normal stripper girls there."

A new club called Chateau Cabaret has taken over the location that has been empty for almost two years since Legz Diamond has closed down. The address is 622 West 47th Street, between 11th Avenue and 12th Avenue, in Manhattan.
The club is currently on two floors, but has plans on opening up more floors in the building, including a floor with a restaurant and water views. Chateau Cabaret is well appointed and the emphasis is on quality and good customer service. For dancers, while not a large selection, there are some very attractive and classy females. Tables and bottle service is available.
Lap dances are $20. The second floor has an ample supply of private rooms. The dancer fee is $300 for a half hour and $500 for an hour. Smaller private rooms start at $150 for a half hour.

Pair in strip club sex sting freed

The millionaire husband and wife accused of running a sleazy sex-for-hire operation out of their plush midtown strip club were freed from jail Wednesday without bail.
Louis and Betty Posner were allowed to walk after prosecutors said they are sifting through mountains of evidence against the owners of the Hot Lap Dance Club on W. 38th St.
"We are in the process of obtaining additional information," said Assistant District Attorney Mary Weisgerber.
Louis Posner, 52, who wore a gray pinstriped suit, and his wife, Betty, 57, had failed to make $150,000 bail since their arrest in a sweep last week.
High-priced strippers told the Daily News they turned tricks in private "tissue box rooms" for businessmen and executives, and claimed Louis Posner took a cut of their fees.
Some of the sexy dancers also accused Louis Posner of ordering them to have sex with him so that he would look the other way from the illegal activities.
Undercover cops also said they were propositioned for sex at the club - or asked to go elsewhere - by strippers, including porn star Alexia Moore.
The Posners were set free when a grand jury failed to return an indictment on sex and money-laundering charges.
The husband's lawyer said the delay in indicting the couple might be a sign of weakness in the case.
"We're hoping that information will be favorable to us," lawyer Louis Ginsberg said.
The Posners must return to court in November. A source close to the case said they are expected to be indicted within a month.
Investigators are poring over reams of documents seized at the club and talking to scores of dancers.
Not all the strippers are turning on their ex-bosses.
A lawyer for 10 strippers at the club insisted Posner ran a clean operation and scrupulously barred prostitution.
"He told women prostitution was illegal, and he fired people who did that," said Wylie Stecklow, the lawyer.
Cops said Posner raked in $1 million over the last 10 months from the operation, which billed itself as "the No. 1 Gentlemen's Club in the World."
Four of the club's dancers were busted for prostitution. Another 15 strip club workers also were arrested.

If you are like @rattdog and all you are looking for is "extras," then the Lido Room is not the place for you. The Lido Room is a lap dance club and there is no private rooms with "extras", but there is a semi-private lap dance room at no extra charge.
I completely agree that the Lido Room has come a long way since 2009. At present, the Lido Room is operating four nights a week: Tuesday in the West Village, Wednesday and Friday near Rockefeller Center, and Thursday in Midtown West. The West Village location has an outdoor patio in the rear and the Midtown West location has an outdoor rooftop deck. Depending on the night, there are up to 40 dancers who are friendly, educated, and very attractive.
