Nice for a Tuesday, But Is This The End Of The $10 Dance Era?
Really nice review. Great info on the new "dynamic pricing" structure. Very helpful.

Well, they were all "mini-PLs," so I'm guessing none of them were over 5' tall. :-)

Promises, promises.
Here's the difference: people hate on Band-Aids because there's A LOT of unattractive and/or overweight dancers there, but there are good ones among the dregs and the mileage is amazing. No one ever called BA a rip-off. OTOH, LITERALLY EVERY REVIEW SAYS TO STAY AWAY FROM DREAM PALACE BECAUSE RIPPING YOU OFF IS THE ONLY THING THEY DO. See the difference?

More for me. Always appreciate when you guys decide that HL isn't for you.

Extra services here?
You have 3 posts total...Post #1: "Any extras here?" Post #2: "Any extras here?" Post #3: "Any extras here?" Sorry if we're inclined to be less than helpful. You're either a cop or a leech, and I'm not sure which is worse.

2 reviews total, the other is in Harrisburg, PA, where he ALSO took an extended lunch break from work. That's some crazy commute he has. Not a shill review, just a completely phony one. These are the users who should be banned.

Maybe the first time I've ever heard Hi-Liter referred to as "upscale." Absolutely no details, and does anyone actually believe some dude bought this guy a lap dance because he was alone? Just a complete BS review.

Do you lie to dancers about your day job?
@skibum: actually less...we play as a duo in typically 1'40". We are fast, one practice swing, we hit the ball straight, and don't fuck around on the greens. Give me a juiced up cart and we really boogie around the course. We usually make a bet on which hole we catch the "Back 9 and Breakfast" people. Everyone at the course knows our rep, and stays the F out of our way. It's great...the pro shop has made a special time just for us, because they know we won't hold up the actual published first tee times.

@minnow: Really well...my golf buddy and I are always the first one out at our course, so we tee off before 6 AM and are off the course by 8 AM before it gets too crazy hot.

Do you lie to dancers about your day job?
One of my favorite dancers texted me the other day, and we set a time for yesterday to get together. When she came out of the dressing room, she asked me how my new job was going, how my golf game has been, how my vacation to Europe was and about my son and his adult softball league. I asked her about her vacation and a couple other areas we had chatted about. It's so much easier having a conversation with someone when you can actually talk about real things that actually happened, instead of always trying to be too clever by half.

Sketchy BUT..
BTW, the two dancers at HL who are from Chica's are both great in VIP for far, far less $$$.

So if I understand this correctly, you spoke to a dancer at Hi-Liter, who told you to go to Chica's. Then, when you drove the 47 blocks to Chica's, that same dancer was there, too? I know the two dancers who used to work at Chica's who now call HL home, and neither of them still work at Chica's, though they keep in touch with their friends there. Hmmm.

Will it ever be possible for Dave to do a review of a Phoenix club without mentioning Canada (or 80% of the review being about him and not the club)? My Magic 8-Ball says, "Very Doubtful."

Interesting Decor
The last time (and I mean LAST time) I was at this club, I agreed to a dance with one of the girls. As she got ready, I placed my hands on her thighs. She immediately said, "I can have you thrown out for doing that." Never again!

New Blood!
They were nice...some dancers, especially ones that are new to HL and their rules, are more conservative on the floor initially. All her non-verbal indicators were more positive than negative, so if I get a chance to test drive her in VIP, I would.

Great for Phoenix. Fun times for sure.
Absolutely no question this was written by an employee. Few real details. Note to club owners/managers: No one posts about how great the DJ is at a strip club, unless they work there. The only rule more ironclad is if a dancer says she'll get "naughty" in VIP, naughty is the absolute last thing happening. Seriously, you can't give us an actual entry fee or drink price? Real descriptions of the dancers working? And "8-10" dancers does not qualify as "plenty of talent," especially if it gets as busy as you stated. And who the fuck is Hazel?

Always pay the dancer, who then pays the bouncer or Manager on Duty their cut.

Cubans
The Cubans, for better or worse are propping up a lot of strip clubs right now. It's easy to paint an entire group with a broad brush, but reality insists on intruding its ugly head. I'll speak anecdotally from my experience. At Hi-Liter in Phoenix, there's at least 30 Cubanas working there. Most are dayshift, and an amazing amount carpool in together. There may be 20 Cuban dancers in the club at noon, and one car in the parking lot, as the rest are dropped off at the club. They hang out together, and always greet each other with a kiss when they arrive. They are, simultaneously, the hardest workers and the laziest workers in the club. While a number may just at a table and endlessly scroll through their respective phones, or have a hen party at a larger table, they will also get up and work the room. Most (not all) are "wanna dance" types, as their grasp is English is very poor. Usually, when faced with a "no thanks" from a customer, they'll respond with a "one dahnce bay-bee" and then move on. Body types vary, many do have BBLs and/or boob enhancements, it's probably a 50/50 split at HL. Mileage ranges from "meh" from the more shy dancers who are probably only there because they've been told to be there by their "sisters" to complete GFE with extensive two-way contact. Very, very few, IME, have been deceptive upsellers or ROBS. I think they don't want the hassle of potentially losing their jobs. Like any other service provider, if they provide stellar service, you damn well better tip them. I do, and I can tell you the girls who I get dances from literally tag team each other with me when I'm in a club, and the dancers who have asked me in the past and been told "no" leave me alone. What I find humorous is that other Latinas (Mexicans, Colombians, Venezuelans, etc.) at my clubs complain more to me about the Cuban invasion than the customers do. As the clubs slow down for the summer here, they're worried about them cutting into their own business.

Whatever
Changes at Vivide - no more straddling, heavy grinding
That same thing happened to me in Chicago about 20 years ago. All the girls called off the floor and were told by the manager "no contact" anymore. really killed the vibe of a club that wasn't that high of contact anyway. Left shortly after the girls came back out and spread the bad news instead of their legs.

Amazing stripper repartee -- dumbest ever?
Once had a dancer who legitimately had no idea where Las Vegas is, and we're in Phoenix.
