I think it is sad, but not pathetic. The customer probably is getting something in return, whether it is bragging rights on having a dancer girlfriend, sex or thinking she loves him. People pay for many things to impress others even if it hurts them in return. At one of my regular clubs, some customers will take dancers on weekend trips and claim things happened. The dancers will also say "I went to away with Joe Public, but we did not do anything. I just had him pay for drinks and buy me stuff." Who do you believe, probably something in between. Basically, we all want someone. Some are willing to pay, some are willing to pretend and some are lucky to find the real thing.

The good thing about Phoenix, Arizona is a new requirement for dancers to get a license. You can ask to see the license for the real name. No, there is no test for this license. Just a payment and you get an ID/License.

Come on, RL. Do some work yourself too. What do you consider a friend in your life? Someone that cares about you. Do you hang out, catch a movie, go to a bar, help you move, or listen to you complain? If the answer are yes, you got a friend.

Stripshopper, your posting was funny. Like everything in life, there are situation that the article would completely apply. Life is funny. Many dancers did not grow up in a conventional family. People tend to look for things that are familiar. If you grew up in a bad family life, you probably try to find one that is the same because that is your perception of love.

I don't agree. Most of the times, they are asking me for information on relationships, traffic rules and medical issues. Should I start charging?
