    Tesla Investor Day
I’ve been a Tesla skeptic too, mostly because of the need for rare earth elements, lack of infrastructure, and limits on solar. But, they did a pretty good job of explaining how to address all this. Once production reaches a certain level, electric cars will be cheaper to build and operate than ICE vehicles. The power train is much simpler. And, economies of scale will make Tesla untouchable.

A lot of fawlty towers involved over-the-top comedy that won’t be allowed. This could be very disappointing.

Not to mention, a trillion dollars of loan forgiveness, and a bottomless commitment to Ukraine. All, without even advising Congress.

The most recent monthly PPE is .6%, which is 7.4% on an annual basis. There is rumbling that the Fed will need to raise its target, terminal rate to 6% or even 7% to finally bring down inflation.

With inflation currently at 7%, your “ dropping like a rock” prediction has failed. So, you seem to be focusing on money supply as a proxy for inflation ( it isn’t ). But, yes, sometime in our lifetime inflation will go down and you can proclaim your genius.

Both the following move in and out of streaming. Right now, I don’t think they are available. They are worth waiting for. Life: the lead actor from Band of Brothers plays an ex con, millionaire, Buddhist detective in LA. Well written, well acted, great cast, and a great series finale. Dark Matter: SciFi. A gang of cut throat space bandits become good guys and protect the weak. Sort of Seven Samurai in space.

Forget FKK's. Go to Ukraine. :)
Ukraine had a network of women who used social media and hookup sites to communicate with Russian soldiers. They gathered intelligence including targeting information. This went on for many months until the Russians caught on.

From Yahoo Finance The Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) price index — the Fed's preferred assessment of how quickly prices are rising across the economy — rose 0.6% in January and 5.4% from last year. On a "core" basis, which strips out volatile food and energy components, prices rose 0.6% for the month and 4.7% from last year. The numbers support recent indications inflation is not falling at the pace and extent investors have been hoping for

We clearly need to decouple from China. Since they are the sole manufacturer of so many essential goods, the smart way to decouple is over a period of years while the same capacity is brought back to North America. If the situation in Ukraine forces this decoupling to happen immediately, the entire world economy will be screwed for years.

What is our National interest in Ukraine ? Is it more important than guarding our own borders ? What is our goal ? Exit strategy ? If China sides with Russian, what is our counter move ?

“he cited some blogger that suggested the US blew up the Nordstream pipeline” Seymour Myron "Sy" Hersh (born April 8, 1937) is an American investigative journalist and political writer. He gained recognition in 1969 for exposing the My Lai massacre and its cover-up during the Vietnam War, for which he received the 1970 Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting. During the 1970s, Hersh covered the Watergate scandal for The New York Times, also reporting on the secret U.S. bombing of Cambodia and the CIA's program of domestic spying. In 2004, he detailed the U.S. military's torture and abuse of prisoners at Abu Ghraib in Iraq for The New Yorker. Hersh has won a record five George Polk Awards, and two National Magazine Awards. He is the author of 11 books, including The Price of Power: Kissinger in the Nixon White House (1983), an account of the career of Henry Kissinger which won the National Book Critics Circle Award. Not exactly “ some blogger “

From Wiki “The Powell Doctrine states that a list of questions all have to be answered affirmatively before military action is taken by the United States: Is a vital national security interest threatened? Do we have a clear attainable objective? Have the risks and costs been fully and frankly analyzed? Have all other non-violent policy means been fully exhausted? Is there a plausible exit strategy to avoid endless entanglement? Have the consequences of our action been fully considered? Is the action supported by the American people? Do we have genuine broad international support?” I would argue that none of these questions were answered before entering war with Russia over Ukraine. Nor, have they have yet to be answered.
