Decent Option For The Area
I had a Friday afternoon/evening to kill, and some nice driving weather, so I decided to head out of the city and finally check out this place. It was OK but I probably would only return if I happened to be in the area.
First off, despite what this site says, High Heels Saloon is no longer fully nude, both on stage and in the private dances. One of the dancers told me that was due to Covid restrictions that never got lifted. So that was a little bit of a disappointment, but the girls were fun and friendly and that helped make up for it.
I arrived around 7 p.m. and saw about half a dozen girls walking around. They didn't start the stage show until around 8:30 or so, but girls were talking to customers and giving private dances before that. Girls ranged from around 5 to 8 or so, and there were at least three I was very interested in. One came over and we chatted for a while, then went to get a dance. She did not allow touching her boobs, but had a very nice body and was reasonably easy to do to (although I had to lead the conversation the whole time).
With no full nudity and limited touching, for $30 a song, I thought about heading out but a second girl came over and started chatting me up. She was more engaging and we went back for a dance as well. She let me play with her boobs and also did some stick-shifting. I mentioned the first girl didn't let me and she said it's up to each girl (which is a point against in my book, and at any rate something anyone should be aware of going in). She is also the one who told me about the Covid rules nixing fully nudity.
We did a couple songs and went back to the main room. By that point the stage dances had started. The third girl, a tall short-haired blonde who I had really wanted to try a dance with, had been talking to the same guy most of the night, but she took the stage shortly thereafter. She was amazing on the pole, but unfortunately, he took a seat at the tip rail for her entire show. I still went up and tipped her a couple bucks, but after her show she went back to the same guy so I headed out to drive back to Chicago (which is maybe an hour-15 to an hour and a half depending on what part of town you're in). If I'm ever in the area, I might go back to see if I can find her again.
As for the facility, it's an unassuming building, low and flat. You walk into a large lobby that looks like it's almost big enough to serve as a spill-over room when it's really busy -- it has a small stage on one wall and a small bar on another. That room also has slot machines in it. After paying your cover you walk into the rectangular main room. It was a bar along most of one of the long walls, with a stage in the middle of the room. The stage is two small octagonal platforms, each with its own pole, connected by a narrow walkway. The furniture, bar, stage, etc., all seemed clean and well-maintained but they were never fancy. In the far corner a diagonal wall blocks off the private dance area, a few steps up from the floor. The dances are semi-private; there are barriers between the seats to create booths roughly 4-feet wide and deep. There are no curtains are other manner of achieving full privacy, but because of the diagonal back wall, the two rows of booths are angled away from each other so it is possible to be mostly out of view of the other dances. Next to all this was what looked like a small room with "XOXO" lettering on it; I assumed this is where VIP dances take place, but I didn't inquire as to pricing or other specifics (e.g. are the VIP dances full nude) as I got the distinct impression there are no extras available here.
All in all, with the right girl this place is more fun that other relatively nearby options, namely the Lamp Lighter and Silver Slipper Saloon. And if I was in this area, I would stop in High Heels. But I probably wouldn't make another special trip from Chicago.
