  Everytime a big athletic event goes on, the girls will follow. I'd had kind of a "pen pal" relationship with a porn actress. Because we had gotten to know each other, I asked if she would mind meeting for a hook up. She told me no, that she only has sex with her live in, and the four guys she does scenes with. Then, she turned right around and went to New York for the All Star game (she's not a sports fan).

  It's a given that girls will come into town. Just as many regulars will skip the clubs while the tourists are in.

  It happened the last time the big game was there and I think two things happen when there is a big event in Tampa. First you have a huge influex of girls from other places, who don't understand and go into the Tampa style. The other is that the area seems to sort of make an issue of them in an attempt to eliminate them but in this economy I think there are more important things than the 6 foot rule. If I was a local I wouldn't go during SB week, it won't be the same at YS for sure.

  When the Masters golf tournament is on in Augusta GA you cannot get a hotel room within 100 miles. The 5 or 6 clubs in Augusta all suck. Therefor everybody drives the 70 miles to Columbia SC and most of them wind up in my favorite club. The girls clean up. Dumb ass golfers will pay any thing when they are away from their S/O'S. I just stay away.

  The smart dancers skip the super bowl, and go for the pro bowl in hawaii! Nice Hawaiian vacation and they make a grip. All the big contract players come in and just try to out do each other. A girl at my local club has gone the past 2 years and is going again this year.

  The smart dancers stay at home and cultivate their regulars. I can always spot an out of towner. Just looking for a quick kill. In the end I suspect that home girls do better. There are a lot of expenses involved in travel. I know because I fly free. But when I get there the costs go way up.

  one of the best times I ever experienced was in Tampa for the Superbowl in '91. The girls that came to town to work the clubs were super-it was like Vegas during a big convention. I did not want it to end. Just for grins, I looked at hotel prices for this year's superbowl a couple days ago, and reasonable rates were still available in Bradenton, about 45 mins. away.

  Local TV just did a piece on hotel room vacancies in Tampa. Nothing against the Cardinals but Tampa probably lost big bucks with the Giants and then the Eagles going out. I don't know of too many hardcore Cardinals fans -- don't know any actually -- who would make the trip cross country.

  Just spent some time last night talking to a dancer who had no idea the Super Bowl was in Tampa next weekend. And this was about 40 miles south of Tampa (well within overflow tourist area).
