Ever had this happen? Talked for over 15min, natural convo as opposed to forced, including showing pics from daily life of common interests. Then she says something like "need to go to the locker room but brb".
She then disappeared and later saw her talking to someone else. Probably summoned by a regular whale? Was expecting the sale at that point and probably would've obliged.
It's either she didn't think she was going to get the dance money (or tip for time) or whatever money she was going to make wasn't going to be worth the time or energy at that moment. Or the other guy could've been one of her better customers like the OP was thinking, so she needed to take care of that angle after getting a feel for the situation with the 15 minute chat. Not every good customer needs to be a whale. Or she could've planned to come back to you but was working the room on her way back. A dancer has her reasons and they won't always make sense to her customers. It could really be almost anything anyone would suggest to you. That's part of what keeps me interested in the hobby. Every dancer is a little different because every person is a little different.
They can be flaky. Pick another.
I’ve occasionally done this to girls as well, when I see another dancer who I want to talk to. Sometimes I come back to the original girl, sometimes not. It’s just part of the strip club dynamic. Don’t overthink it.
good for her, you were wasting her time. She sensed it and moved on. Talk, talk, talk, did you pay her to spend time talking with you? if not - she had every right to move on.
she was showing you pics of her life as she was like- fuck is this ass going to pay me or just sit here. She can go to a normal bar and talk to someone - she is AT WORK - respect that.
I had this exact same thing happen to me a couple weeks ago, went on stage and said she’d be right back after her set. Instead she went right over to somebody else and went to vip to bank on some $$ for dances.
Came back a week later and she came right over to me as if nothing had changed and asked me for dances. These girls will strike when they see a customer ready for dances. Never take anything that happens in the club personally. Check your ego at the door.
It's worse when it happened to me. This girl comes over as I am about to leave asking if I wanna dance. I tell her, please find me next time I'm at the club. She smiles.
I come back less than a week later. Make eye contact. Then she's on stage, I tip her (at a club without much tipping), point to where my seat is. She doesn't come over but talks to someone else. (who doesn't look like a whale, and who I've never seen there, and I've been at the club over 20 times)
If they talk to me (and are hot and/or im enjoying the convo) and choose to leave on their own and don't harass or even ask me for a tip I chalk that up as a win.

It could also be that the other guy intercepted her, and either she or her wallet didn't have the heart to say that she was sitting with you.

If I’m sitting in the club just talking with a girl that I have no intention of dancing with I make a point of handing her some money - say, 10 or 20 - every 15 minutes or so. I respect why she’s there, and it ain’t cause I’m an amazing conversationalist.
Time is money for these girls. You were clearly giving the vibe that nothing but convo was going to happen with you
