Stripper age requirements

The recent Epstein story involving the possible involvement of underage girls got me thinking about the real ages of strippers. I once did lap dances several times at a local strip club with a young and pretty girl. I ran into her several years later at another strip club and she confided in me she was only 17 and illegally doing lap dances with me and others earlier. Have you had any experiences like that and do you think that is common in strip clubs? I would actively avoid any strip club that I heard was hiring underage girls. Eighteen is the minimum age requirement here in Indianapolis strip clubs and there are plenty of females from eighteen to forty I am interested in.

I know that in the states that I club in minimum age is 18 for a nude club and 21 in an alcohol topless club. And 18 in a tj club.

I know of 3 that started at Follies when they were 17 using fake I.D.'s. The county did not require permits. So no back ground checks.

IIRC they moved it from 18 to 21 on FL a few years back. It’s always the few that ruin it for everyone

I don’t think it is common - I was told years ago at a club the one girl had used fake ID so I’m sure it happens - clubs that serve alcohol by me have dancers under 21 wear bracelets- so they don’t get serve alcohol - I avoid these as I think they are too young

Given how many clubs have ID scanners nowadays, it's probably significantly less common than in years past.

Had a similar experience as yours. A girl I'd had sex with multiple times admitted that she'd started dancing when she was 16. Apparently the club she started at didn't bother to check. They are closed down now, thankfully.

Fortunately for me, she'd turned 18 by the time I got to her. And yes, I checked her ID.

I don't remember any underage strippers, but I do remember one of the clubs I used to visit, now shuttered, got in trouble for allowing underage customers into the club. It wouldn't have surprised me if they, in fact, had underage strippers. They were lax on a lot of things, not to mention the girls with fake ID's.

I wonder if it happens nowadays with foreign born dancers. They may not have the proper documentation.

As far as I know I haven’t encountered an underage stripper. However I’ve heard about a few. One I know says she danced at a hole in the wall in TN when she was 15 which is kind of scary. I didn’t meet her until she was in her 20s.

Clubs need to be careful about that. It really doesn’t matter who knows but a lot of people could be in trouble in addition to any harm that comes to the girl. Clubs put their operation, their staffs, and their customers in danger when they aren’t careful about that. We should have a reasonable expectation of this.

As @sfrsox said, in FL it is 21 now, which frankly is fine with me. When I was growing up an 18 year old girl was likely to be fairly mature and have some worldly experience, but that is not the case with this generation. These kids don't grow up nearly as fast nowadays.

Yeah, I remember chatting with some older dancers back in the day. It seemed like in the 90s especially it seemed pretty common for even those as young as 13(!!) to dance in a club. Some had even started with full service sex work before transitioning to dancing (while still underage).

Idk when that became taboo enough for that to end, but it definitely was by 2016 and no clue how long before that. It was interesting being very baby faced and a lot of the older dancers were either scornful or protective.

They call themselves the "Free State of Florida" but you can't view porn sites and 18 year olds (legal adults) can't work in strip clubs.

Fuck that. If you can go to war, vote, buy cigs, and sign your life away to huge student loans, you can damn sure show a titty to help pay for those loans. That's why I prefer the free state of GEORGIA 😤 (although I do often find myself in JAX and TPA, but still lmao)

@shadowcat is right about Follies. Knew a couple of those girls. At Oasis up the road (same county) I ran into several HS kids on fake or borrowed ID's. One was even commuting from about 60 miles north of the club. None of them lasted very long.

One told me she could not work night shift because she had a curfew. Another told me she lived with Grandma who did not drive, so zero chance Grandma would come visit where she was "waitressing"

@PAWG_Patrol I'm not sure if it's still a thing, but they used to have free orange juice at the welcome center... 😀

@sfrsox It's good to hear that small perk is still around! If orange juice gets any more expensive, it might be cheaper for me to drive to the Florida state line for the free OJ instead of heading to the grocery store...lol I could put like 20 different wigs in the car, and talk with a different accent each time I walk up to get my free cup. 😂

Fortunately my taste runs more towards women rather than sweet young things, so this has never been an issue for me. I was at DDTR not too long ago and was approached by some girl who looked like she was @5. Hard pass, it’s too creepy even for a PL.

I’m OK with a minimum age requirement of 21 for dancers. As the father of now grown daughters I can tell you that a young woman’s body reaches maturity before her brain does. Girls younger than 21 often don’t have the intellectual maturity to make good decisions and are at higher risk for exploitation and trafficking.

ONLY 4 States require a dancer to be 21.

ALL other states maintain a 18 years of age minimum. I don't know where people likek @jascoi get this difference between tits and pussy

also, can someone explain to me the difference between 17 years and 355 days old and 18 years and 5 days?

A lot of people like the younger dancers. I don’t remember how many times it was said that Follies had young, white spinners. That’s probably the most in demand demographic of strippers. That’s not necessarily under 21 but I’d say it’s largely under 25 and most common with the younger dancers.

My current two favorites are in their late 20s but I’ve known them a long time. I think they were 19 or 20 when we met.

I really think 18 year olds should be able to dance. There just need to be safeguards to make sure they’re not younger and all dancers need to be there of their own free will although I think rates of trafficking are grossly exaggerated mainly because some people want to calm some activities trafficking that aren’t trafficking.

Government needs to addressing the problems they say they’re address instead of putting up road blocks for clubs under false pretenses. By the way I don’t think most people want their daughter dancing whether they’re 18 or 40 so they frequently say the young women they know aren’t mature enough.

===> "also, can someone explain to me the difference between 17 years and 355 days old and 18 years and 5 days?"

Yes, legal autonomy.

Besides, any cutoff is going to seem arbitrary. But there has to be one or else it's a free for all.

I agree Rick and I think 18 is fine. It does scare me though to hear about fake IDs and such but that’s a separate issue. It’s not that 20 year olds are more attractive than 21 either. They’re just within the same range and there is no reason they shouldn’t be able to dance. Restricting them does reduce the potential pool of dancers during years that a lot of people are attracted to.

The old question: experience or enthusiasm? As in "What she lacks in experience, she makes up in enthusiasm." I like strippers over 21, they seem more chill and generally know more about what men want.

I think it should be 18 and a high school diploma, otherwise 21. I've talked to a couple girls who dropped out senior year to go dance, and they regret it now.
