Stripper accents

What are some stripper accents you have heard over the years? I did lap dances with a girl here at Dancers in Indianapolis last night. She told me her parents were originally from Texas and she grew up here. She had no Texas accent at all. I think you need to live in a place for a fairly lengthy period of time to pick up the accent there. She probably has an Indiana accent but only someone not from Indiana could hear it. I have heard Ukrainian, Czech, Swedish, Italian, Brazilian, Mexican, Puerto Rican, Venezuelan, Chinese and Ethiopian accents from strippers.

I remember taking this quiz before, and it was dead accurate about my region.

nytimes.com

But San Antonio/Laredo doesn’t have “stereotypical” Texas speak and customers from states up north have questioned me on why I don’t have an accent. (I don’t think anybody from the decent sized cities naturally talk with a twang). Interestingly enough, some have said I speak like a Californian. That’s weird to me, but hey maybe all the transplants have corrupted my speech or something lol

I recently ran into a blonde from Texas at DD in Pompano which is odd to begin with. She had such a heavy TX drawl that it sounded fake and annoying. But she was hot and let me play with her tits so it was all good.

To avoid the pay wall, try this link:

nytimes.com

Then, scroll down the article to the link: "How Y’all, Youse and You Guys Talk.” It'll take you to the same quiz, but apparently, the click-thru does not require clearing a pay wall.

Thinking about this makes me realize I’ve never heard UK/Irish/Australian/NZ accents in the SC.

The most unusual, as far as strip clubs go, is Argentinian. I also remember one Cajun girl. I found her hard to understand, but at least she was handsy
