I was in the bathroom the other day and looking at my cock so I decided to measure it. It only measured at 10.5 inches. Is this about average or small? I went to a private school growing up so I really have nothing to compare it to.

If you don't hear complaints about size, you are probably OK.

Dick: No, I am afraid you are definitely NOT normal.
On the bright side, however, it sounds like you have a large dick, so that can compensate for what a weird guy you are.

Why did you have a measuring tape in your bathroom?

According to Wikipedia, average hard is about 5 1/2 inches, average soft around 3 1/2 inch. Standard deviation was not stated, but I agree with njscfan, you are well above normal

I went to a private school too and they told me about 12 inches was normal. So that just means you're just slightly on the small side. No problem though. I keep finding lots of dancers have tiny little pussies. I wouldn't be surprised if you run into some dancers who seem afraid when they see your dick. It's probably just the inexperienced younger dancers. If they have a tiny pussy, it doesn't matter to them how big your dick is unless they're afraid you're going to rip them apart. One girl I knew was excited by the idea so don't despair.
