How many farmers who are on the verge of losing their farms are now greatly regretting their vote for Trump? Many were set to be helped by the Inflation Reduction Act are now having their funding cut off by Trump. All of these rural people were so behind Trump and against Biden. Who helped them and who has hurt them? Trump once again shows that he could care less about any of them.
Bunch on tik tok saying they will go BK, but don't worry Trump will bail them out. Why grow grain for starving people when we can just give farmers cash to do nothing
At some point, judges will probably start giving executive officials deadlines to pay what was committed to, or face fines for civil contempt. Then we'll see if Project 2025 succeeded in finding blindly loyal people for Trump. Anyone who isn't blind knows Trump sees loyalty as a one way street.
@Costa - Believe it or not, replying to fact-free liberal emoting is not my life's priority. If you want me to address something, feel free to link to the exact proposal you want my opinion on. I'm not going to Google everything just to entertain you, sugar tits ;)
I heard echos from Trump this morning saying that the high costs would only be for a short time period, I remember he’s predecessor saying that inflation was transitory. I seem to remember Trump promised that prices would drop like a stone as soon as he got into power.
Salena Zito, one of the wisest and most prescient columnists out there, said in 2016 “the press takes him literally, but not seriously; his supporters take him seriously, but not literally.”
Obviously there's some kind of disconnect here, since Trump is above water in popularity (vs Biden's -17 when he left) and he hasn't ended the Ukraine war or brought down prices (which is debatable whether we want it) on day one.
Of course idiot libs act like "Well _damn!_ January inflation rate was up!" was some big "own the cons" moment when Trump was only president for 10.5 days and hadn't had a chance to enact much. Or similarly, that war in Ukraine still rages; though now libs have switched their tack from "he hasn't ended the war!" to "he's surrendering them to Russia!" as if anyone sane expected Trump to unilaterally expel Russia from Ukraine including Crimea. But again, that's the disconnect between libs and the American people.
Kids, this is yet another example of why libs got their asses handed to them in a fruit basket a few months ago, because they're more obsessed with winning internet arguments than generating results for the American people.
DOGE will, in the long run, bring America back towards fiscal sanity and take the foot off the inflationary gas pedal. Of course, the Dems are dragging their feet and kicking and screaming about it, even if DOGE is pretty popular despite the mainstream media treating every federal firing as the apocalypse. Similarly, ending the war in Ukraine, which NATO and the EU warned we would provoke by behaving as we did, would enable us to focus on the _MUCH_ greater threat out there, China. I would hope there is common cause in reducing our DOD spend, but the left is reduced to reflexively condemning everything Trump does.
Bunch of clowns.
Sasha Stone gives a great playbook for the Dems to keep losing elections, and they're executing it as well as the Eagles' Tush Push behind Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson. https://sashastone.substack.co…
^ don’t know where you’re getting this information that DOGE is pretty popular, everything I’m seeing contradicts that, and Elon has become a lightning rod for criticism. The way I see it, is Trump needs to realize the same way the Democrats finally found out the hard way, is that winning with a plurality, not a majority does not constitute a mandate.
^ Yes, the screeching pink-hairs and posturing far-left congresswomen get more attention than the ones with their nose to the grindstone, but Trump himself is 2.6 in the RCP average of polls which has done better than any cherry-picked poll.
This is Trump's mandate; House, Senate, White House.
I recall Democrats claiming a lot more of a mandate with a lot lesser margins in 2020. But it's neither here nor there; Trump has the majorities he has. "Mandate" is pencil-neck wonk talk. People want America to _work_; one side is working, one is just sniping from the peanut gallery.
Typical MAGA response to a reasonable post, seems to me that you fellas have no ability to respond without being insulting and disrespectful, that’s how you pick fights son. What’s going to happen is your agenda is going to bog down with lawsuits just like last time (2016-2020) two years go by pretty quickly, midterm elections will most likely, flip the house or the senate, despite your claim that a slim majority that can’t agree on how to pass a bill is a mandate. In other words nothing will change.

last commentHonestly he kept talking about deporting their work force. I'm not sure they ever had a plan.
